Yes and no?
On the one hand I don't think all Sony games are the same, and that entire notion is pretty stupid. Are you really going to tell me Demon Souls Remaster, Miles Morales, Returnal and Ratchet are the same? From visuals to game mechanics to structure they are all quite different from each other.
On the other hand I do think they could still have more variety. I'd love to see a first party Sony FPS, or a proper RPG/JRPG, or more platformers like astrobot but with a bigger scope and budget, or a character action game in the vein of DMC/Bayonetta/OldGOW that focuses on combat and action without the need of quests and stats and equipment.
I also think the notion might come from the fact a lot of Sony games are made in this modern style that's basically a blend of genres. You take something like Horizon and there's a lot of (arrow) shooting but it's not really a shooter, and there's sidequests and skill trees but it's also not a full RPG, and there's resource gathering and crafting but it's not really a survival game, and there's jumping and platforming but it's not really a platformer. So even when Games like Horizon, Spiderman and God of War are quite different, they also loosely fit into the same "action adventure with RPG elements" category
