A Diablo mobile game never sounded awful to me. They were dumbasses about how they presented it. And...would it really be so hard to make a new property that is just diablo for mobile with a different skin?

It's this serious dour thing and you are supposed to play it while buying oranges. There opportunity to do something new in a space they own no matter the window dressing, and they refused.

If they did it right, a few people would even ask why the mobile game wasnt just Diablo.

Diablo is a perfect fit for phones, I have no why people react so negativity to this.
