Captain Marvel Official Trailer

Can't believe they actually did a scene with the mohawk lol amd the suit at the end looks SO fucking good. Captain Marvel always did have one of the best outfits. This movie is gonna be huge.

Can't fucking wait.

So this one plays before or after Infinity war? Sorry can not watch it with sounds on. Also hitting a old women without context or sounds looks like an asshole move. Will watch when I get home with sounds. So far it looks cool.
In the chronological timeline, this is around the late 90s. She's punching the old woman because she's an alien(called a Skrull) in disguised

That trailer seemed pretty...meh...but has all the polish of a really well made Marvel movie...so I'm torn.

I liked Carol more when she was just Miss Marvel. I understand that MCU is a sausage fest, but I would've prefered if we got actual Mar-Vell here.

Looks Good to me But I am a Sucker for Blockbuster movies even if they kinda suck. I love Watching Bad Movies

But I especially never go into these movies looking at them as the 40 year old cynical asshole that I am. I sit there like a 10 year old kid looking at all the Comic and cartoon characters I grew up with come to life.

The only thing I know about Captain Marvel is that the eradicated this skull planet in the comics. So she killed an entire race if this was correct. If this would be happening in the movie that would be really cool^^

This kinda feels like the end to me, I dont know why, its not like the quality of MCU films has went down. But just watching that, makes me feel like "this is the jump the shark moment"

Very lacklustre but it will all fall down to how CM's character is portrayed in the film. Btw, the punch is most probably a hidden skrull like TheShadowLord TheShadowLord posted. Will be a gif moment I predict.

I had to watch it without audio, but.... this looks like the Lifetime channel version of a MCU film.

I didn't like the magazine reveal a few weeks back and thought the character/actress looked dorky but it looks a lot better on film. I was surprised that there weren't more 90s nostalgia callbacks in the trailer since I understand that the film is set in the 90s?

As someone that knows little about the character I optimistic that it'll be another entertaining but entirely forgettable Marvel movie.

I like the trailer.

I wish marvel was more willing to give its female characters more interesting and unique outfits. When it comes to women it feels like it's always a lady in a full tactical body suit, ok change the color. Lmao.

Not the best trailer and I'm not sure I like doing the amnesia angle here or her returning from space in the 90s. I mean when did she get kidnapped? I was hoping she was going to be a 90s gal and unless she was only gone for a year or two I dont think she will be.

Still looking forward to it though.

Also, they need to keep her in the helmet as much as possible because she does not have a heroic looking face at all without it.

There is a serous lack of flavor to it, absolutely generic deadbeat trailer.

Supposed to be the 90's, young Coulson and Fury, MCU can do better....

Who is the director? Gonna be the first person to get a rotten review since the Hulk?

Not sure what to think about this. The trailer doesn't do anything for me. The blockbuster reference just turned me off at the beginning for some reason . :)

I have become mostly numb to these superhero movies. I liked Deadpool 1/2 and Ragnarok was fine but this looks generic as hell.

Never been a captain marvel fan(still am not) but this sure does look nice. I look forward to seeing it and seeing if there is a villain added to the movie(hints of it but I do not follow her story so not sure) unless the villain is DCEU batman that we got a glimpse of at the end of the clip

This is the hero who is supposed to undo the Thanos Snap?

Oh geez.
She is a cosmic powered hero. That makes her far more powerful than probably everyone except Thor and Doctor strange from the avengers

If they dress the character too sexy, they end up with a feminazi riot.

I think it looks great, we all know what Captain Marvel is capable of and what she is about, so I think it's the beginning of something really exciting :-)

I think it looks really good, first female solo marvel movie.

It also launches before avengers 4 which great... but I thought avengers 4 was in june... which isn't a lot of time between the 2 films... usually they release them like june and November or somewhere in that ball park.

I've got mixed feelings on this but I'm probably still going to see the movie since it actually looked more interesting than ant man to me.
Nick Fury made me hyped for the movie more than anything else.

Trailer was meh and she lacks the charisma I'd expect, judging from this. Strange, Stark and Star Lord were masterfully cast, for example. She seems like an odd choice to me.

Actually Avengers 4 comes out in May but a two month release gap isn't anything new for the MCU. Black Panther came out only about two months before Infinity War. Same with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-man Homecoming, only two months apart.

Anyway, looks good for a teaser which it seems to be despite calling itself a trailer. The amnesia angle plus a stealth alien invasion could make for an interesting story. Curious how the latter will play out since I assume very few people will know of the Skrulls by the end of the film since the World Council in Avengers 1 didn't seem convinced a superhero team was that essential and it took an alien invasion to somewhat convince them but if they already knew about an invasion in the 90's they should have known better (but they weren't the brightest to begin with. Oh, even though we don't know the scale of the invasion and how the superheroes are holding against them and the fact that the Air Force hadn't even arrived yet, let's just NUKE MANHATTAN with all the people in it just to be sure. GEEZUS. You know, Independence Day is a stupid movie but they at least tried aerial assaults before escalating to nuclear warfare and that was on a mostly abandoned city.)
