Been going through my old mags (UK mags, and 56k? no. bad.)

Some of the really old stuff is quite fun to look back on. It reminded me how excited I was about the Gamecube >_< -- ( I still enjoyed the thing of course)

That said, I keep way too much shit. 1998/99 magazines? Anyhoo, the reason I've got all this (described and pictured below) is cos I'm having a clear out. Reckon I might get anything for all this crap? Or should I send it all to magazine heaven/hell?

I love EDGE. Alot of people don't, but it's the only gaming mag I'll get.

Even with its flaws, Edge plays in another league compared to all the game magazines out there

for me its

1) Edge
2) GamesTM
3) Everyone else

by the way these mags are pretty freakin awesome:

3d World (UK, Future Publishing, £4)

Its for 3D artists. Similar high quality publishing to Edge, and no surprise, its from the same publisher. Lots of great news and features pertaining to the world of 3d art (ie. Siggraph when that comes around, other conventions/awards ceremonies, interviews etc), uptodate reviews on the various packages, lots of tutorials and a CD full of models and textures every month.

Check this out -- found an old Transformers the Movie comic on my clearout too.
Some cool 80s Hasbro toy adverts :p

They're good at disguising the pretentious shite inside ;)

I've never thought EDGE was pretentious, it's just not like most other gaming mags which nowadays seem like they're written by 14 year old console fanboys.

Definitely. Not in any order, but as far as written stuff goes, Edge, Games TM, and Play are pretty damn good.

I have all CUBE and NGC magazines to date. I stopped getting NOM ever since the "new look" a few years ago.

But yea, some nice stuff there.

Nice Post. That Pop up Edge-DS Cover is genious.

Could you do me a favor?

Cool thank you. :] I made it in the same night after TGS press conference.
(So it doesn't really fit in there, as all others were done before I guess... But I don't complain :>)
