I noticed that x700 are on sale at BestBuy early tomorrow. I have a Radeon 9800 pro, Is the X700 pro a huge difference, or should I wait and get a better card later?

AFAIK, benchmarking for the X700 PRO isn't too far removed from the 9800 PRO.

example:

9800, X700
|--------------------|
---------------|--------------|

The X700's min performance will come up to the upper bound of the 9800 pro, quite possibly go beyond, but it's not a leap enough to hop on the upgrade.

Dont bother with x700. Only buy if you get a much bigger improvement.

Yea I saw that, I've never not gotten a rebate on a bestbuy deal so i dont mind. MAybe if I get a good deal on some ram, I can sqeeeze some more juice out of this pc.
