Oh, you don't have to worry about DICE. No other studio under EA can do a goddamn thing with Frostbite. They would keep DICE around just out of practicality. Now that Bioware is kill, how long until DICE is next? I know that Criterion is still alive but mainly as a zombie and Respawn is too recent, so that leaves DICE as the prime candidate for EA (Electronic AIDS).
Over the last six months, we’ve made organizational changes to shape our teams against our priorities for the future. We’ve made operational changes to better position ourselves to effectively drive live services and serve our player communities. We’ve made creative changes, including the formation of a Creative Council to strengthen our creative decision-making. And we will continue to make refinements in each of these dimensions as we focus sharply on execution across the company.
We are making critical adjustments to sharpen our focus on execution
As Blake and I have talked about, we are experiencing a difficult second half of FY19. We’re disappointed with our underperformance. We are confident in our overall strategy, but we are making deliberate changes to our organization, our operational processes, and our creative focus to address our challenges.
Good riddance to this joke of a studio. Bioware was one of the first studios to be infected and eventually overrun by the SJW virus. I'm honestly surprised they're still around given their output.
LOL Anthem didn't fail because of any SJW leanings. It failed because it was a shitty looter shooter with horrible drop rates on gear.Unfortunately a lot of AAA developers in the West have been overrun by SJWs already with boring character designs that follow the toxic SJW’s code strictly.
SJW leanings is the stoole pigeon for most games that fail it would seem.LOL Anthem didn't fail because of any SJW leanings. It failed because it was a shitty looter shooter with horrible drop rates on gear.
If I were him I'd probably leave Anthem off my CV, say you took a sabbatical or something, a really long one.
Bioware have been dead for years. Let's face it.They’re leaving one by one. This is it, BioWare is no more.
Yup, I guess it's time for EA to kill another studio and give Bioware a raise. Respawn maybe?Must have cost EA millions.
Can’t disagree but this time we might witness EA shutting them downBioware have been dead for years. Let's face it.

Just close bioware now why keep it going
All those bluehairs gotta work somewhere.

They were amazing, once. What the fuck happened...It’s happening bro, I believe that. They shut down a better studio, nothing will stop them from shutting down a garbage studio.

He was a lead producer on the Old Republic. He literally got his start at BioWare. I wish I had opportunities like these.

This might be in bad taste saying this, but, why would anyone want to hire someone from leadership on Anthem?

Final fantasy 14 comes to mind, but Final Fantasy is also squares crown jewel ip with a 30 + year legacy that they couldn’t afford to have tainted.
Anthems ip is probably a negative asset at this point while final fantasy is one of the biggest in gaming history.
You're LTTP on that one. They’re leaving one by one. This is it, BioWare is no more.
I know I've stated this before, but the concept is fantastic. Robots. Guns. Loot. Flying around shooting monsters.
How do you fuck that up?
That question is no longer rhetorical, I guess.
keep in mind fallout 76 is successful where anthem is not. Both launched at the same time and Bethesda’s product thrives.
