So what did you think of them?
Really loved the atmosphere in the first one, cool concept. The second one was good too, maybe better, but it didn't have the same gritty feeling. Edward Furlong might have played the most annoying character I've ever seen. Overall, I really enjoyed them. Didn't make me a fan of the genre though.

Keeping track of books will be easy enough. I'll look for a few top 100 lists and note all the movies I haven't seen.

Books:
A Universe from Nothin, Laurence Krauss
11.22.63, Stephen King
The Quantum Universe, Brian Cox and Jeff Forshaw
A Tale of Two Cities, for Charles Dickens' 200th birthday, worth it.

Neat, I started a personal challenge like this on goodreads. http://www.goodreads.com/user_challenges/336986

Today I'll start up Imajica by Clive Barker.

Started and finished Hunger Games, which I enjoyed more than I thought I would.
For the sake of keeping it to this thread, my book list:
1. City of Bones
2. City of Ashes
3. I Am Legend
4. A Clockwork Orange
5. The Tales of Beedle the Bard (I don't feel like this should really count, it took 30 min, to read)

I really liked Waiting for Godot so I'm going to check out more of Becketts plays. Page One was pretty good document but it lacked coherency.

I read another of his plays last year, Krapp's Last Tape. Seems very simple on the surface, but there's an enormous amount of hidden meaning if you dig deep. The contrast between light and dark, for example, is utterly fascinating, and can be analysed in all kinds of ways.

Started re-reading DFW' short stories and essays and I'm probably going to give Infinite Jest another run and it will fuck up my time table for good. It's going to take at least month to read it but the ride is worth it :) Flann O'Brien's books were hillarious and I will probably check out rest of his works too this year.
