I should not have had to look through four pages to find this news!

That said,

I hope they decide to announce a localization of the Vita version later. It shouldn't be too hard if they already have the ps3 port of it done and it would really give Vita fans a lot to do!

Gives all the fucks
I wish they could include the romanized and the translated lyrics as options in the game ( you choose in the option what kind of subtitles you want )

That's like the only thing i ask.
Agreed. It's nice that they're romanized, but it'd be really nice if there was translations so I can actually know what she's singing without having to find a translation online.

It'd be great if they did a bundle of both games. Don't think they'd do cross buy since I recall each version has its own unique features, but hopefully since Sega tested the Vita version out, they still have that version that can be used for a localization.

So, can we get everyone to tweet @makoosa and politely ask for an English patch for the Vita version too (for those who bought it)? :)

(Since I'll be in Tokyo June 12-24, I just tried to bribe him with Beer/Sake/Umeshu/whatever in exchange for signing my copy of the Vita version. wwwww)

Well, if it wasn't done in that Yakuza game, what are the chances of it being done in this one?

This is an actual surprise. It's been awhile since I checked out a rhythm game so I'm in for the boxed copy.

BOOM! (That's the sound of a megaton makes.)

Seriously though, this is good news even if it's not the Vita version.

I just beat the JP PS3 version yesterday (by beat, I mean passed all songs on Extreme). May or not pick up the NA version, but this is really good news!

After looking up videos of this game it's a day 1 buy for me.

I blame Tokyo Teddy Bear.

We'll see, but I hope they do because having only romanized lyrics would be... weird.

Not interested for the same reason I wasn't interested in the Japanese PS3 release. I already own it on Vita.

I don't understand who Sega is marketing this to. This is not a mass market friendly game, and Miku-philes (should) have imported it already.

I have hopes that it will attract new players. People who have no idea about Vocaloids and/or are on the lookout to try out new games, they could see this as a new weird Japanese IP that just came out.

Nope.

Is there a way to purchase PSN cards that aren't a minimum of $20? I tried Paypal on PSN but it failed sadly.

If I can find a more convenient way to fund an american PSN wallet, i'll import, might skip if I can't though, It would only be getting imported for DLC

Damn it!

Well they can still attract new players to the series. I mean it worked with me already. This announcement made me download the Japanese demo and now I'll be preordering this as soon as I can. Hell, if there's some sort of LE I'll probably get that as well.

So I played Project DIVA 2nd on PSP, and it was pretty enjoyable. But there was this ONE SONG I kept playing over and over again (as you do in rhythm games, Love <3 Shine is my drug) and that's Change Me (Shu-t)

I don't believe this was in the Japanese version of F. If this was in the English version, would seal the deal.

There are a ton of people who are curious about it but didn't go the extra mile to import it.

Not to mention, even fewer people imported the PS3 version. I have it on Vita, but I'm going to get it again. I never got to mess around with a lot of the side stuff because it was more menu intensive, so I'm looking forward to it.

Same here ;_;

Look at it this way. If people support this, we may get more. It's worth it to support this regardless. Sega has been resisting bringing these over forever. Now is everyone's chance to show them people are interested.

Project Diva f 2 isn't even a sure thing yet. If the series sells decently, we may help get more games made in general.

I want this just so I can play DYE and Himitsu Keisatsu on my tv in the living room with surround sound. Make the neighbors think a real vocaloid is in the house lol.
