I mean considering their push to put essentially every single KH in some form on PS3, I think cross-gen is most likely.

Sincerely I really don't mind the exclusivity, I never saw the multiplaform nature of XIII as a problem for the series or for the players. It's a non-issue for me.

When I see a game is exclusive to a console, it means I'll just buy that system eventually. Not sure why people get angry or frustrated. Exclusives always have and always will be a thing, even if there are less starting with this generation. If you can't afford all the systems, that's fine, but if you only want 1 or 2 games on a system, wait until you can get the system cheap, play the games then.

Can also borrow it from a friend or something.

Now that PS4 is easy to develop for, and more powerful I think Square will go back to the PS4 exclusive, at least until they are comfortable with the development environment and market of the Xbone. At least I hope they do - they make beautiful games (visually), and I want to see their best.

Yeah I get it, I'm not actually expecting to see much. At least SE makes some nice looking games, so next-gen they can make at least another pretty turd.

Honestly, after the Xbox reveal, I just want series like FF this to go back to ps exclusively (home console wise at least). More than 70% of their sales for XIII were on PS3, almost 80% of their sales of XIII-2 were on PS3, so with a little moneyhatting, minus development/porting costs for xbox, it is actually a pretty believable rumor that FF can be exclusive on PS consoles again.

PS4 supposedly is the most powerful system gaming wise according to various sources (including DigitalFoundry) and since the FF console titles have been known to be great graphically, I want to be blown away by the stuff they achieve.

Of Course this means I want that rumor that FF Versus is going to be on PS4 exclusively to be true (and not cross gen)

On another note, Nomura's infamous "warm spring" quote supposedly a hint for a Versus reveal/more proper info. E3 takes place in the warm part of spring (aka just before summer).

I tell myself time and time again I won't get hyped, but surely enough it happens without fail.

If I was a betting man, I would bet that Versus XIII shows up at E3 rebranded as Final Fantasy XV. After that announcement we get one of Nomura's famous 7 minute long trailers (I love the fact that the trailers are always long when it comes to Nomura's games).

I don't think it can fit for iOS store. There are CGI cutscenes as well and it was released on 2 UMDs in Japan so it is >2 GB, at least.
