Now, we just need to see a return of Square exclusitivity to the PS4, so there games look incredible. How they play, we will see, but they definitely make pretty games.

I think I've reached the point where I can't get excited about anything SE related anymore. Personally, this does absolutely nothing for me. Looking back at that assholes' tweets on @square_enix_events, he/she was REALLY enthusiastic about this reveal.

-E3 Booth near completion! A whirlwind of E3 anticipation! Yet in the eye of the hurricane lies something big... The teasing will end soon...
-I know. I've been such a tease. But next week...the smoke will clear. The sheet is lifted. The windows will be.... squeegeed.
-Who likes secretive booth announcements?! Our E3 Booth has never had an addition like this before. New things are great! Very soon now...
-Hype is at the max. It's been decided...
-Tomorrow is when I finally stop teasing everyone and our new booth addition is announced! Exciting!

My God.. and the replies to some of these tweets.. "FFXV confirmed!", "Versus XIII here we come!", "Finally, KH3!". I mean, can people not help but to assume it's gonna be something a little more than just LIVE coverage? gtfo outta here with this shit.

Maybe if I had some confirmation on where Versus XIII stands right now, I'd be a little less pessimistic about all of this. but, alas...

CHOCOBO RACING 3DS PLZ

You gotta dream bigger than that lol

So titles we know are:
- Final Fantasy XIV
- Lightning Returns
- 'next-gen' Final Fantasy
- Versus in some form, if recent statements are to be believed.
- Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD collection

Would hope for:
- FFXII HD announcement
- New FF teaser/announcement to show some more classic FF elements.
- Some kind of Matsuno project, even though he does not work at Square Enix, some kind of collaboration would be cool.

Don't forget KH!

What is the video? I can't view it at work.

And more shows just for the fans!

It's going to be more fun
Than flying a CHOCOBO (bolded with red text)
Okay, maybe not that fun...
But really, really close!!"

could this be some of the first signs of positive changes by the new S-E upper management?

I mean... this kind of transparency is pretty unprecedented for S-E (i.e. refer to my jab at the closed theater showings of the past), right?

- Type-0 on Vita and/or 3DS.

Corrected, and added a few more hopes in the meantime. I don't expect any of my hopes to happen, but even one would be sweet. A couple are realistic expectations at least.

At the very least they'll also likely be showcasing the KH 1.5 HD Remix.

I don't know if I expect much in the way of *big* new announcements, apart from a Versus re-unveiling in whatever form it now has.

But yeah, FFXII HD would be lovely (especially if it's packaged with FFT:WotL HD), or if they announce the KH 2.5 HD Remix (which I don't actually expect to happen until TGS).

Kinda doubt we'll see a Matsuno project, but it'd be lovely to hear about whatever Ito is working on, yes. Also, Type-0 would be awfully nice. I kind of expect that to turn into a PS3/PSV game sort of like the FFX/X-2 remaster, but I could see it doing well on 3DS also.

What "statements"?? Someone hinted at Versus being present at e3?

Rumours that Versus is now known as FFXV and is PS4 exclusive. It's inclusion at E3 is just common sense (if the former rumour holds any truth)

And at PS Meeting SE confirmed a PS4 Final Fantasy would be at E3.

Expect a lot of mobile gaming announcements, and a tease for the PS4 given their presence at that event early this year.

Almost. The main site with the article seems down but the quote was:

“It’s a delicate situation within the company,” Nomura told podcast Square-Enix Merchandise Radio “The date for our next reveal is set and we are working toward preparing information for that. Perhaps the details as to why information couldn't be released might be touched upon with the next information announcement.”

They have been saying stuff like that forever though, but I feel with the end of the generation coming, it's more make or break now. Might also not be until TGS, but who knows.

Yeah a few sources seemed to push this idea too, we shall see. The Nomura quote that says 'the details as to why information coulden't be released' could imply the idea of Versus moving to next-gen, since that would certainly push back the project.

The funniest thing would be PS4 Versus announcement with no release date. Here we go again!

The only thing worse than a rumor is a completely baseless rumor.

The only way an FF PS4 being at e3, when it was just announced a couple months ago that SE had plans of making a FF title on the ps4, would most likely be some extremely vague teaser or just the title logo.

I'd love to see a good Deus Ex sequel, yeah. There's got to be *some* amount of new stuff coming out of Eidos beyond just Thief.

My personal fantasy, though, is a Vagrant Story sequel by Eidos Montreal, working as a third-person melee/shooter with heavy stealth/social elements (i.e. impersonate other people, limited teleportation), and Matsuno/Alexander O. Smith collaborating heavily with them, and gameplay as a sort of hybrid between the original Vagrant Story and Deus Ex: HR.

I like how fans have very low expectation and suddenly BOOM megaton lineup.

Don't worry, my expectations are still almost null, I just like to play along.

And yes, I do think rebranding Versus as FFXV might be a good call it solves a few problems:
- long gaps between offline FFs
- negative connotation of FFXIII
- explains the development hell and delays at least a little bit. Though some of it is already known, like the team being moved to other projects.
- Sell it as a main title and not a spin-off, as it clearly took a fuck ton of effort. Look how much more AC3 sold compared to AC2: Brotherhood, people often will not pay as much attention to unnumbered titles and this one cost them a lot I'm sure.

BTW, there's going to be so much rage when they inevitably announce a shoddy iOS port of FF6, but a "definitive" one in the sense that it'll have the GBA content/bugfixes and the higher-quality SNES music.

Please look forward to it.

I wonder if Verendus is going to be right, he did say we can expect the next-gen Kingdom Hearts for PS4 at E3.
