Xenoblade Genesis Announced

2 sucked though. Hell, I would go far enough to say that the first game was by far the best in the series.

I just cannot understand how people like 2 so much with its awful character designs, terrible dialogue and writing, horrible technical performance and really bad UI, especially at release. And let's not forget the stupidity of that gatcha system in SP game.

I will die on this hill! 🧐🧐🧐
The recycled ending of XB2 was bad, too.
That's what Xenoblade is at this point - just recycled anime rubbish.

I bought Switch 2 at launch because I knew this day would come.

Same.

I mean I got it for Bravely Default remaster (good ass game) but mainly for the Xeno series and Animal Crossing and the occasional remaster and or remake.

With Nintendo literally hiking the price, we were not wrong to buy at launch I see lol

Mine is collecting dust right how as I play BF6, Yakuza 3 remake and some other titles, but I don't regret my day 1 purchase. Even if I just end up buying that Star Fox remake, Zelda OoT remake and Xenoblade Genesis.

That is more then enough for me these days. I've sunset so many Nintendo IP, I just play a handful now days lol

It was okish, but the story writing is basically all generic anime and fanfic writing outside of the first one, which fell into that the later half.
Three was the worst offender though to the point of being amateur. Lots of Captain Planet moments where characters call out things that are happening that are very obvious and don't need to be said I thought he ending was better than 2 though overall.

This game has been in the making for a long time, so It would hardly push NS2 visuals too much since it was born as a Switch 1 game (as it happened with all 1st party games up to this point I'd say...)

The good news is that it will probaly run well from the get go unlike the previous Xenoblades.

I've never played the Xenoblade series, but it seems like the Switch 2 will be perfect to start playing it.
Be prepared to set aside 350 hours of your life (and by my count $270 to buy the three mainline games, two expansion passes, and three Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade packs) to play the three mainline games, an epilogue, and two expansions needed to see the entire story, but it's peak.

No need to buy the games separately + upgrade packs. Just buy the Switch 2 versions when they get released
