Not a big fan at all of the artstyle. Looks way, way too much like the Tales series and just about every other anime styled JRPG you see nowadays.

What's weird is that in reality High School is grueling as shit with cram schools going till like 9-10pm, mandatory clubs and a lot of bullying that gets ignored by teachers.

College/University can be a lot more relaxed so the constant high school protagonists are kind of surprising.

Persona generally managed to do a decent job there but even with that series I am tired of the setting.

I liked 1 and X but 2 was so boring I dropped it after 20 hours and ultimately skipped 3 as a result.

I'm a bit underwhelmed. This feels more subdued compared to the energy of other Xenoblade games. I'll wait to see more but this first impression didn't land with me.

Maybe the next one will take advantage of Switch 2 hardware. This one does not, but I trust it'll be a good RPG.
