After Sony's poor showing and Microsoft's showing however you feel about it. Nintendo really needs to drive this direct home and set-up the rest of the year, bring out some big guns and bury the competition. I suspect they won't and will be pretty calm about it all. Hold nothing back.

I completely agree with this. I was actually talking about it in a TOTK thread, I think. A lot of people forget that Link was originally conceived as a kid, which is pretty obvious when you look at the early artwork. The thing is, Link doesn't really age, but the player does. He was also a kid so players could identify with him. Back in the NES days, there weren't many adults playing video games. From Nintendo's perspective, Link remains young—a teenager or young adult at most—and I don't see that changing much. I'd be very surprised if they ever made him genuinely old as a playable character.

That third party list would be fantastic. E33 ain't for me but it's a must have for a console. Sekiro is old but it's the one game I really hope to see.

Oh yes E33, the glorified walking simulator with the occasional 'gameplay' interruption where you're still just watching a cutscene whenever a character or enemy performs an action because it takes ages to complete.

I honestly think Nintendo is the only company out there that could release a major game alongside GTA 6 (even same day) and be totally fine. There are enough of us PC+Nintendo bros out there who won't have the opportunity to play it anyway even if we wanted to.
