I don't think this is a 2030 or Next-Gen game. This is a product of a quality developer who isn't lazy. It will run smoothly on PS5 as well.

Evie seems a human, not a andro-eido, like Eve.

And the game is not called Stellar Blade 2 for one reason. It is not Eve's story.

We know it was captured on PC, which means thats likely leading platofrm, devstudio wont ignore base ps5 if game comes out before 2030 and for sure it will, on the other hand we can bet it will very likely be downgraded version with all kinds of cuts and problems, think cp2077 on ps4 or xbone, in theory u can play those versions too but in reality u dont want that even on ur worst evenmy, or in my case on ppl who lie about me/want me to get banned when i remind them of biological reality :P

If you put Evie's face into AI and ask how old she looks Grok says 20-22, Grok Heavy said 19 with a different image, and Gemini said 18-24, which is exactly In line with what I said about Korean women looking younger than they actually are.

Also the game director stated these characters are designed using Asian beauty standards, not Western standards, and are ADULTS:

Most of the response has been overwhelmingly positive, and even during the show the crowd loved it. No amount of whining will change the fact this game is going to be a hit.

The best part about him going at you about what you said is that it's literally well documented and researched that every group of men on this planet, in every age range, consider women 20-24 to be the peak of female attractiveness. Doesn't matter if you are 15 or 95, it's the same. Evie would fall into that category which makes it basic biology, and absolutely normal, that you'd find her attractive.

That mainly depends on the picture/angle you feed the AI model with.

I tried it with this one and Gemini and Grok assumed it's a 10-14 years old boy. ChatGPT wasn't sure about the gender but also assumed her age at 12-14.

I'm very impressed so far. I know Shift Up went to Chongqing (in China) to get some architectural inspiration, and it really shows here. (I travel to Chongqing often). I think the character looks great, not too young, certainly not by East Asian standards. And I personally don't feel we HAVE to see Eve, never mind other side characters like Tachy or Raven. The series is not called 'Eve's Chronicles'. Really looking forward to this.

Its the cheeks. If they were a bit thinner she would look older. But some asian people have cheeks like this

Look, I'm a massive sexual deviant and if not jail could probably be on at the very least an oddball register, but that character looks like a 13 year old girl with a woman's t&a. Won't stop me playing it but its certainly a bit.... hmmm.

Graphics (if realtime) are ludicrous. Gonna need a monster pc to get that running at max settings.

It's really this one scene/screenshot that's got everyone up their own asses about "omg she's a minor". I admit she looks way younger there than in other scenes/media.

Here's a different angle from the official SB twitter account, and she looks fine here.

So fancy my thoughtprocess here, if say guy is 19yo and 20yo girl is attracted to/has sex with him, but he looks 16yo(babyface syndrome, slim body with barely any musclemass, plenty guys have it nowadays with low test being prevalent) does it make her a pdf-file suddenly?

Or, and thats how reality works, if a female highschool teacher sleeps with her student, actual 15/16yo boy who is over 6 feet tall/has a mustache and could pass for 21yo looks wise- who is actual pedo here? Law is pretty clear cut, no ifs and buts :)

On the opposite side, when I was in high school, some girls looked 40 when they were 15. That was my classmate who was a heavy drinker.

Evie is definitely a more petite tomboy design compared to Eve, so it'll inherently be less appealing to a lot of people. I'm willing to give her a chance, but it's hard to imagine her pulling off the kind of outfits Eve had in the first game. Of course in the first game Eve did have a choice of hair styles and even body types, so maybe Evie will also have more 'mature' looks. It's mostly the petite frame and short hair making her look like a teen tomboy that's going to put off some. But it's pretty clear to me the game isn't trying to portray her as an underaged character, nothing about the presentation made it seem that way. People are just doing the typical song and dance by taking a solitary unflattering screencap out of context and running with it, clearly in bad faith. You just have to tune these outrage tourists out.

I do think this trailer is still very much a vertical slice demo of what they want the game to look like rather than what the game will end up looking like in the end. It's still in early development I think, so I wouldn't expect it to come out in the next two years at least.

The combat looks solid, clearly an evolution on the old system, and I do like the change to martial arts. Some of the gameplay did look trailer scripted though, so can't take too much from it.

I think the real highlight of the trailer was the cityscape though, it's so much better than anything they had in the first game. I hope you actually get to explore the city more rather than it just being a backdrop or limited to few scenes. You can already tell from the gameplay segments, that a lot of it might end up being the same empty underground industrial corridors etc. They really need to put a lot more work into the world, exploration, side quests and npcs this time around. The first game really lacked most in those aspects.

If they can flesh out all of that, I can take a less appealing protag that doesn't rely as much on just sexy outfits to carry the game. But I totally do expect a lot of that too, after all it's a Kim Hyung-tae game. I hope they bring back Raven for this.

IMHO, because the face does not fit with the body and voice, it looks like someone used Lily's face and Eve's body. I dont care about the tomboy apperance, but i believe shift up sholud make her face just a touch bit older. And they know how to make young adult beatiful female faces, hence Eve, Tachy, Raven... even that NPC you help to rebuilt (i forgot her name)...

On the subject of girl: her face does look too young in at least one still, sorry but it's true. But then she looks weirdly older in other pictures. This game is still years away though so I'm sure the final product will be different. Not of a fan of the tomboy look either way.

It makes you think about today's gaming society, where they burn down social media over a game starring a mature woman, yet here they applaud like crazy for seeing a 14-year-old girl's backside squeezed into latex. It's quite revealing, worthy of a Black Mirror episode 😂.

The game itself, though, looks spectacular.
