IMO Korean devs are making great games but have poorly articulated stories and you also see plot twists coming from a mile away. If you unravel all of Stellar Blade's lore it's actually quite good. It's SMT level to a degree as both Adam and Mother Sphere are equally awful in their own way.

The best part is her face is basically a Guild Wars 2 female character creator option with better textures and I've never heard anyone complain about the characters in that game being a "child" or pedo bait or whatever other nonsense.For fuck's sake
Expect a ton of manufactured outrage because of who the developers are. The gaming press and the left literally tried to kill the first game before it was even released, so this will be no different. The hate machine is just starting and will only get worse as we get closer to launch.

It looks incredible and the MC is yet another beautiful heroine. I'm sure they are melting down over at Reeeeeeee.
The game has no confirmed platforms at all. All other games do. All the others have been confirmed for PS5 release by the publisher/dev. I don't think they're big mad just not listing something unconfirmed for it.

My guess is this is a way for them to make Sony push for more investment to secure exclusivity. Maybe even trying to entice Xbox to join the bidding for securing the rights too.

Its possible shift up are trying to fish for a deal. But one thing Im sure of. This game is not for this generation. It looks so advance and its an open world game and possibly a next gen ps6 game. The pc dev kit they might be using is 4090 or a 5080 card. So expect 2029. But it still strange not even a mention from PS blog about SB2. Personally i hope sony xdev collaboration because sony xdev is really goodwhen it comes to technical support

Also, there's plenty of 18 and 19 year old students finishing off high school, so even age of consent laws agree with that guy. I don't doubt that you can find women that look similar, 100%. But you can also find every 12-14 year old girl that has a similar face. In that context, it is a bit creepy
Looking forward to seeing the actual model, like Eve. I doubt she looks as young as her character. Just with popularity of underage looking hentai porn in Asia, I have a tough time giving them the benefit of doubt. The studio knows this will create controversy. It is free publicity

Absolutely. A lot of Americans can't seem to see past their own circumstances and genetic shortcomings though.
I'm of the mind that it's a result of the highly processed nature of American fast food and shelf-stable junk treats. That or just bad breeding, after all, earlier humans were far more selective out of necessity(healthy strong males and fertile healthy females to ensure survival).
Surprised it's a sequel. My first thought it was set at the tipping point between the war between humans and androids, got proper children of men vibes with the suicide bomber at the beginning.

Easily one of the standouts. As usual, the ResetERA reactions are typical BS (for the most part); funny how we shouldn't care about how the women look in a game like Laufey (and I think Faye looks good there, BTW), but suddenly we should with Stellar Blade 2 and they're even gaslighting people calling them PDF files if they think the new character looks good because of course a young Korean woman can't be attractive unless she's underage?
Have none of these people seen a K-pop star? Hell there are Korean women in the 40s who look like they're in their mid-20s at most. And that's real-life. I remember people saying the same stuff about Rebecca Chambers back when RE Zero came out but at least they weren't virtue-signaling LARPers.
Anyway....yeah, this is a big win here but I'm surprised they revealed it this soon. I thought they had another game in the works, "Project Witches", right? So is this coming out ahead of that or is that coming first? Either way, what I really liked about this was:

1: Very strong cyberpunk aesthetic
2: Combat (heavy melee & acrobatic focus, like a mix of KOF Vanessa & P.N.03 if anyone remembers that game)
3: Main character design (not even talking "hotness-wise" (Eve is more my type between the two); the design just looks cool and reminds me of Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita and I hope they lean into that specifically some moves from the tournament in Last Order)
