I'd rather play god of war egypt or god of war aztec.
But we haven't really seen any of the game yet, could be good.

Yes.
Thanks to how incredible TLOU 2 was without Joel.
Yeah! Whoever has a different opinion than you is a dummy bro!Whoever says no is a idiot that is mixing the possibility of a new game with the possible lack of talent of today's Sony to create a interesting female character without being woke.

Ah, yes.. who other than incels could possibly want and expect this from a God of War game.

yep, or just be a spin offI mean...it may not even be called God of War.
I also trust the studio to make a good game anyway.
Amazing game, not games.Amazing games, and both platinum trophy holders.
Its low key annoying that the second game felt bigger in scope than the third game and it's borderline lost in time. Shit, I even see people talking about ascension more than it even if it's negative - guess launching so close to the PS3 was a bad thing to do even with BC and the later HD collection.2 > 3 > Reboot > 1
Haven't played Ragnarok, probably never will. This Faye thing, I hope for the sake of the fans that it's fake and they get a cool egyptian GOW game.
There's a difference between not playing as Joel in the second entry of a series versus not playing as Kratos in the 10th game in the God of War series.Yes.

Barlog, as much shit as I give him for taking forever, he can do similar.
Open your damn minds. This is a franchise. Of course they will want to expand the universe. Best way to do that is to show the stories of different characters in said universe.
I loved everything about 2 and it's my fav in the series, but I didn't know people were already forgotting about it. Hopefully that trilogy remake does it justice. Its low key annoying that the second game felt bigger in scope than the third game and it's borderline lost in time. Barlog is in the school of Neil Druckmann. They both are cucks and it's not surprising he's going the route of a female main character.I trust Cory Barlog to make her interesting.
Indeed, Ragnarok killed the series.I'm not even interested to play another God Of War with the pussy Kratos we have now.
Me and you disagreed about GoW combat to the point I had reasses it and learned to appreciate it. Ragnarok lost something which is weird because it has these framework of something amazing, especially the instant DmC style weapon and technique cancelling, but it didn't have the tightness of the original that made you feel like the "god at war" dominating the Battlefield.Amazing game, not games.
GoW 2018 and Ragnarok aren't the same. Not even in main character.
I know Barlog is extremely talented, and he poured such a huge chunk of his life into this. But I'm just not interested in the slightest. Maybe will change after I see the thing, but I doubt.
I think Heavenly Sword and Ryse caught a bad break.Would prefer a Heavenly Sword 2
Leas forgetting and more that when it comes up in discussion it's almost always Orignal, 3, 18 and Ragnarok, like its just not in their purview for discussion.I loved everything about 2 and it's my fav in the series, but I didn't know people were already forgotting about it. Never played Ascension btw. How is it?
Apparently there are only 2 camps: Woke or non-woke. I'm also in the not included 3rd option.I would prefer some kind of "maybe - I'm open minded" option. Good games are good games. Assuming a Kratos game will be good because he's in it, or a game won't be because he's not seems odd.
Yup. They can get creative with this. But some people already made up their mind about the game so there will be people who will still criticize it no matter what. There's a chance this game goes completely left-field and ends up being very different to any of the GOW games. Some have rumoured it could be similar to Hades.
As long as the gameplay stands up on its own and it isn't trying to be GOW without Kratos, then it could surprise a lot of people.
There are a lot of pre-emptive pitchforks for sure.Yup. They can get creative with this. But some people already made up their mind about the game so there will be people who will still criticize it no matter what.
Having played Ragnarok , I quickly realized that playing with that insufferable kid was enough for me to know that I didnt want to play another God of War without Kratos as a protagonist
And honestly, Faye never looked like an interesting character in the first place, she looked very generic to me.
I know this might be controversial but I cant see myself playing a God of War game with a female protagonist and no I am not a sexist person, I dont mind female main protagonists but a God of War game feels weird and out of place. Its like playing Metal Gear without Snake
That being said I am curious to know your thoughts and perspectives
You are welcone, specially because you did not see the diffenence between dening something with or without reasonYeah! Whoever has a different opinion than you is a dummy bro!
Thank God you're here to set us on the right path bro, thank you.

I did not play Yakuza 8, and it looks like it did not create the same buzz as Yakuza 7 -> but wouldn't it be the same case as new possible spin off? I mean, why dont create a game with Faye where Kratos wouldbe the final boss (and that would be a prequel for the norse saga) ?Yeah yeah I'm not saying the game will be bad just for changing main character, but I bet fans would prefer Kratos over anyone else, which makes me wonder why they'd think making a GOW game without Kratos could be a good idea.
I don't like your examples lol. Yakuza doesn't really do without Kiryu for more than one game (7), and I wouldn't count AC sinze Ezio was introduced in the 2nd game.
That could be cool, why not. But we aren't discussing that ITT but the players/fanbase interest in playing that game.I did not play Yakuza 8, and it looks like it did not create the same buzz as Yakuza 7 -> but wouldn't it be the same case as new possible spin off? Yea. Complaining about not playing as Joel in the second entry actually makes sense in comparason. We've seen Kratos 9 other times lmao. They've made nothing but God of War with Kratos for over 2 decades. This is the closest thing to a New IP we'll get from them. The combat should look and feel completely different. There's a difference between not playing as Joel in the second entry of a series versus not playing as Kratos in the 10th game in the God of War series.
