I can't take it any more, bros.
Good guess. Multiplayer will be only Project Ekur F2P on every platform.Let me guess, no multiplayer
Its happening all over the industry. Thats why all the studios are going hard on remakes. Developers can no longer make good gamesIt is incredible how Microsoft are just fucking unable to make a new (and good) Halo game. One of their most important IPs.
No way 2 and 3 have no multiplayerLet me guess, no multiplayer

Yeah, I wish there was multiplayer (though I'm not one of the guys who thinks CE is useless without MP because I don't associate CE with MP nearly as much as 2/3/Reach) but they have to be working on a new Halo multiplayer title and I doubt they want to be out there trying to support 4 titles all at once.no multiplayer because they cant make it GAAS and thats all these idiots care about
The most important, it's their Mario. The parallels between Xbox's success and failure is directly mirrored in Halo's success. It is incredible how Microsoft are just fucking unable to make a new (and good) Halo game. One of their most important IPs.

People shit on Microsoft for their prior focus on the "big 3" aka Halo, Gears, and Forza but there was a reason for it especially during the 360 generation. The most important, it's their Mario. The parallels between Xbox's success and failure is directly mirrored in Halo's success.
If they could deliver Halo and Gears like they did in the 360 era they would be fine.
Good games are hard to make. Zelda would be an important IP for anyone, but those Zelda dungeons with 3D puzzles that Nintendo makes is only possible because of the incredible synergy, philosophy, and craftsmanship of the people/team that makes 'em. There's a reason Nintendo/Iwata bent over backwards to keep Masahiro Sakurai on Smash Bros, despite him leaving Nintendo during the GameCube era (got him a team, an office, a big budget, almost everything Smash surrounds that guy). Donkey Kong has never since re-captured the atmosphere of the SNES country games since Rareware left the series. It is incredible how Microsoft are just fucking unable to make a new (and good) Halo game. Just play MCC, everything has been ironed out. I really don't understand why these exist other than cash grabs.
The last time I played MCC multiplayer it was a hack fest but it's been quite awhile since I bothered. Singleplayer has obviously been fine for years. If the game is broken (gameplay/controls/etc), is expensive to buy original, and/or graphics look hideous, I get it.
However, the MCC is totally fine like you said.
I think this is just companies wanting to do the bare minimum, while padding out their game catalog.

Capcom manages to do both. Its happening all over the industry. Thats why all the studios are going hard on remakes. Developers can no longer make good games

TBH, the could probably rename MCC "Halo" and just put all the games in it. The game is already designed to download the different games in chunks depending on what you want. Just add the new ones as additional DLC or something. If the game is broken (gameplay/controls/etc), is expensive to buy original, and/or graphics look hideous, I get it.

It's been that way since 343i took over. They been riding the coattails of Bungie for nearly 2 decades now without any of the talent to back it up.Nothing but stolen valor with this series these days.![]()
