This game is iredeemably woke horseshit, not because of the diverse cast, but because the story is so fucking awful, including the same trite tired woke themes; male character is shit and is deconstructed through the story, female character doesn't need a man to save her and inexplicably turns gay at the end (like Aloy), no character development, no actual moral of the story, low quality shit writing clearly elevates "the message" over any semblance of an attempt at quality or entertaining storytelling.

Also, people have all the right in the world to complain. Every PS fan has been screwed by the actual woke slop (don't know, don't care about this particular game). Remember when online price got jacked up to better serve us and they stopped doing discounts on the basic tier for online access? Yeah man, during all this time they were also looking for ways to recoup money wasted on woke slop. I know it doesn't mean any further game in particular will be slop, but the damage was done. Maybe petition Sony to stop pissing off its fans instead of complaining the fans are tired of (or now assume) the same shit in a different package.

It's the easiest way to inject identity politics into games. Black, female, lesbian characters check every box needed. They won't push into the the trans area too much because they know the blowback will be too harsh so they stop there.
These developers can't help themselves and are so obsessed with their sexual identity and gender that they assume others are just as obsessed when most of us just want a good story.
