Yes, the asian lady is kinda buff, she looks like a less buff Abby, but she's supposed to be an army vet so I guess it makes sense. And no, that's not the template used for other females. They're all distinct.
And because I already know how some of y'all think, no they're not lesbians. They're old school friends and give each other shit like any two bros would.

This shit is very obvious. And don't bring old games here, they didn't have agenda driven developers, publishers and game journalists behind them - all the gay/trans/"diverse" things were there like they were in the movies and tv shows from that time - as part of life.
Everything changed ~2015 - things became obnoxious and now ~7% of the population (Bi and Gay) is represented by 50% of characters in movies, tv shows and games. You don't see any patter here?

2013-2020: relatively subtle (at least compared to now) with the feminism, uglification of women (always only women, never men), LGBT (strong emphasis on the T), making male characters softer to combat "tOxIc mAsCuLiNiTy".
2020 until now: complete, unhinged, unmasked insanity. I think there are quite a few things to blame.
Shit like Dylan Mulvaney and Ellen Page aka more troons getting more media spotlight, BLM protests, Trump's election and the meltdowns over it, COVID-19 etc, did a number on people's psyche, Western game developers included. Here's just a quick rundown on how deranged their behavior has become and their need to politicize their games:
- Trans fucking everywhere whether they be characters or even having their fucking flags in game
- The ugliness of females went from 5/10s to fucking mutants now
- Gender bending every prominent male character to female
- More obnoxixous GRL PWR horseshit
- Western devs acting like petulant, spoiled, bratty, children and making lame excuses as to why their games fail, (wahh, the ChUdS', wahh, the iNcEls", wahh, the Steam CCU threads)
- Western devs openly insulting their customer base (only industry I've ever heard where your ass isn't immediately fucking fired for that, but that circles back to my previous point)
- Journalists being their personal ass suckers and enabling said whininess
- Western devs making weird, weaselly, backhanded remarks against Asian devs and their games
- Continuing to consult with literal liars and charlatans (the actual definition of the word "grifter" like Anita Sarkeesian)

So I completed this short game (took me few weeks lol, 1-1.5h at some nights for maximum immersion) and I can say that this game is really not very woke. If we put games on woke scale like that:
DA: Veilguard - 10/10 woke points
tLoU Part 2 - 5/10 woke points
Spider-Man 2 - 9/10 woke points
Stellar Blade - 0/10 woke points
Expedition 33 - 1/10 woke points
etc.
This game would be 2/10... outside of diverse cast, weird character model for Cooper (Asian chick) and some mentions of Cernan husband (like 1 or 2 mentions though the whole game) there is nothing there. Diverse cast was already in most if not all of DP games so it's nothing new for the series (and totally makes sense for this setting, the best pilots from around the world send on space mission). And LGBT stuff is pretty much irrelevant for this game (nothing happens between characters) - 99% of the stuff is about character psychologies, their motives, background (work), aliens, danger and how to survive.
Game is quite good overall but there are way too many stealth sections (7/10).

I wish we had a proper, complete, thorough, methodical woke/DEI database with a mathematical score calculation.
A database that records various woke aspects, such as same-sex relationships, more than two genders yes/no, overrepresentation of certain population groups, left-wing political leaning, etc.
All weighted, and at the end a total score is calculated.
Right now, I'm grateful for the woke slop threads here that save me the work of filtering.

Yeah, I think Part 2 was still not THAT bad with this stuff, story was mostly about revenge but Druckmann was still able to force a lot of this shit into the game.
I think 6/10 woke points (correction) would be a fair score.

Such a weird thing to be obsessed with. Personally IDGAF about how many people are playing a game right now.
Problem is you have companies obsessing over this now too. Questions go from, "Is the game fun?" to "What's our peak right now?". Makes them just worry about numbers.
A shit game can get popular and guess what? Companies will chase that formula....look at Sony and their focus on live service shit.

How hard is it to make decent looking men and women? Just good character design could have resulted in better uptake. Instead, they had to make the characters woke coded. You reap what you sow is all I can muster.

You still have option to "evade" getting killed, you can rush through many stealth segments but not all of them. They overdid it in this game, previous DP games had better balance.
