Exactly this. loving the game but there is only so much stomping a person can take... They need a PVE only mode, so bot runners in varying difficulty. This will then allow more casual players to have some fun and get used to the game, the mechanics, the objectives and maps. Some dudes are literally no lifers and play 247 and have all the best loot. Even as decent player, YOU HAVE ZERO chance against someone with purple or blue shield while you have none...You got me thinking. You know what this game could REALLY use?
Runner bots. Give casuals a chance to shoot at gear-laden pushovers once in a whileE
That's pretty crazy. You mean over 100 hours? Nope, Arc Raiders sat at 39751 out of 258613 reviews with over 100 hours of gameplay 2 months after release, roughly 15% of the player base.
Div2 7.2K vs Marathong 6.3K. Div2 winning the low battle. Next up: Peak.
I'm convinced that if Division 2 had the first game's setting, those numbers would be significantly higher.Don't be shocked if they do end up moving up the charts. The game has a TON of content with more coming this year, including one more mini-expansion.
Not sure what accounts for it's sudden resurgence, but I think its both promotion of the content/game, it's on sale usually and the looting aspect is just something people have missed.

There are hundreds of them on Youtube. Here is one I watched a few months ago that was decent:
I'm convinced that if Division 2 had the first game's setting, those numbers would be significantly higher.
Snowy New York was an incredible backdrop.
Game is good. Loads of content. Movement a little clunky but it's good a lot going for it. Ubisoft never get the credit they occasionally deserve.
I'm always amazed to hear Division 2 is still on trucking.I'm convinced that if Division 2 had the first game's setting, those numbers would be significantly higher.

Some more interesting stuff i was able to gather:
Like i said Expedition 33 and Death Stranding 2 are meant to be 30-60 hours games, but i've decided to check how many people played them for over 100 hours (again from the review sample).
Expedition 33: 14.028 out of 262.962, around 5%
Death Stranding 2: 1.263 out of 19.309 , around 6~7%
Where does #Omegagenre Marathon stands?
Marathon: 3.164 out of 46.514, around 6~7%
So yeah, #Omegagenre Marathon, master of engagement designed to be played for more than 100 hours, is basically sitting side by side with 50 hour-long single player games
Now, where do SP games meant to be played for over 100 hours sit?
Baldurs Gate 3: 331.717 out of 835.593 , around 40%
KCD2: 52.509 out of 179.091 , around 30%
Btw this is #omegenre Arc Raiders
Arc Raiders: 82.983 out of 384.807, around 21~22%
Its overMen_in_Boxes we have the high ground

Don't try it
yup. I've heard every word of this beforeNone of this surprises me as an ex-Destiny player.
I think it has a much better chance of being the next concord than marathon... like a quick swift death over a slow one
It is a marathon after allI think it has a much better chance of being the next concord than marathon... like a quick swift death over a slow one
I'm convinced it's because when it launched people played it at 30fps. There is wide gulf between how the game plays at 30fps compared to 120fps, or even 60fps and high res on PS5 and XSX. So fucking choppy on last gen systems. And there's just tons of content especially with the 10yr Anniv. push and the Cherry Blossom festival. I love how in the recent update the Kitsunebi kill squad will pop on you after completing missions/challenges. It's one of the best co-op shooters by far with heavy focus on PvE.Don't be shocked if they do end up moving up the charts. The game has a TON of content with more coming this year, including one more mini-expansion.

Went away to Thailand for a few weeks and haven't really been paying attention to this thread but God it's fallen off a cliff.
Absolutely, the map alone would add so much more to it, game has a lot of stuff to do, but the setting is kind of lame compared to the now iconic Snowy NYI'm convinced that if Division 2 had the first game's setting, those numbers would be significantly higher.

This thread will be the greatest thread in NeoGAF history...
YHave you considered applying? You're their strongest soldier.
I only have weekly bounties worth of Crucible experience but wasn't PvP in Destiny went bad not because of poor decisions, but because of lack of trying.Marathon is heading where Cruicible ended up unless Bungie can get out of their own fucking way.
This thread has 2k more posts than the OT, and Marathon is the most popular/viewed game on SteamDB. Players are definitely taking notice, but the journos seem to be downplaying and running damage control. Either way it's been a fun ride. I'm curious if this is the last week it will hit 20K?The ccu performing this poorly either way is a huge story. Yet people wonder why we enjoy tracking it. It has consistently underperformed and that's been a hell of a ride. If the failure of this game eventually becomes a true story then the ccu watchers will have been ahead of the curve. It's just huge gaming news at this point. gigantic game flatlining here.
Div2 10.2K vs Marathong 7.4K. Is this Asia at this time of day?
