Silent Hill n
it will get old so fastA "SH every year" remember..
That's all we can hope for. Not a high bar thankfully.Hopefully better than f.
so resident evil 7 . we have come full circleFirst person SH. Why not. I'm in. Hopefully better than f.
Good, see yourself from the thread.Yeah I'm not feeling it
It's funny, not long ago in an SHF thread I had just talked about how I think Condemned combat in a Silent Hill game would solve their identity crisis when it comes to grounded but satisfying combat in an SH game, and then this game is shown.First person SH. Why not. I'm in. Hopefully better than f.
We don't do hive minds here mate, don't like peoples opinions, especially something so small as "not feeling it" on what they've shown then maybe you should go to EraGood, see yourself from the thread.
On topic: This looks amazing. The art direction and atmosphere is top tier.
Looks like we got Mr. Sensitive over here... Maybe post something with more substance? It's not a public diary over here.We don't do hive minds here mate, don't like peoples opinions, especially something so small as "not feeling it" on what they've shown then maybe you should go to Era![]()
I said it looks like Silent Hill meets Alien Isolation and that's not necessarily a bad thing, you're the one that jumped on me because I said I wasn't feeling it and I had to leave the threadLooks like we got Mr. Sensitive over here... I'm torn on this, because I agree that a yearly release schedule for Silent Hill is a dumb idea, instead of something like Metal Gear or Contra.I'm all for a good franchise revival but this is not the way, by releasing the games so close to each other it's going to lead to franchise fatigue therefore, driving it once again to the ground - especially if the quality is reminiscent of Homecoming, downpour, shattered memories and book of memories.
The SH franchise needs something like SH2 remake quality at the very minimum for each game to stay afloat and to not fade - once again - into obscurity, something which Konami hasn't learnt apparently since they're once again outsourcing their best franchises to 3rd party devs/companies (SH, Castlevania etc).
People say "Konami is back" but...they were also "back" during the PS360 era and we all know what happened then.
Amazing atmosphere, but I'm reserved about this one. SH f also had great atmosphere in the trailers, and I got burned, one of the few games I regret purchasing.
Interesting choice with the 1st person view, I'm not against it at all, as a matter of fact IMO it's better for pure horror.
But here, if the game is gonna have lots of fights, I can see it as a problem. It would be better if they would let you choose at least for the combat to go in 3rd person.
Yea you said that after I quoted you..... If you can't see why your perceived dear dairy initial post was called out, then I don't know what to say.I said it looks like Silent Hill meets Alien Isolation and that's not necessarily a bad thing, you're the one that jumped on me because I said I wasn't feeling it and I had to leave the thread![]()
What do you mean by this?it actually disconnects you more because it isn't real.
