Life is Cringe
Nah, Life is Strange was a nice little AA experiment back in 2014, but the overall concept has been run to the ground. I don't see what it can bring to the table nowadays.
Exactly, and now they finally realised it and given the state of the company as a whole, it's clear and obvious why they've decided to bring Chloe back. It's like a last ditch attempt of keeping this franchise alive. I hope for them it works but given how bad Double Exposure was, I can't see it happening.Yeah they hit gold with the first, the rest just havent hit the notes that first game did.
The last LiS game, Double Exposure, sold poorly, so I'm surprised they're doing a new entry so soon instead of putting it on the shelf for a few years. That said, there are plenty of LiS fans who'll buy the game day one and happily shell out for merch as well.Do these games sell well? What keeps them going? The first was decent, but couldn't be bothered after that
According to Yasuda, the financial reports confirm that Life is Strange: Double Exposure's sales were a "large loss" for Square Enix, something that was only made up for by the Dragon Quest 3 remaster. Specific numbers for Life is Strange weren't revealed, but it is clear that it didn't sell all too well.
"losing" her doesn't have to mean she died, double exposure just says max and chloe grew apart then if that was your choice.I chose the ending where you save Chloe and let the storm hit the town, so Chloe was never lost in my game. I wonder if this new one acounts for that.
