I genuinely dont really look forward to game releases anymore. Certainly not counting down the days until release.
I think Cyberpunk and Starfield were the last games i were genuinely excited for, and both games didnt exactly turn out like i was hoping.

Same, although for me it was Dragon's Dogma 2.

Would love to get back on the videogame hype train, but it's complicated after such a burn.

Its funny you say that because i just bought DD2 the other day because i saw it for £15 of CDKeys, and i quite like it so far, although i have only played about 3 hours so havent seen much.

The start of the game is pretty fine. The problem for me is how the game becomes piss easy once you reach the 20 hours mark.

I'd recommend checking the mods scene if you are on PC. There are some mods that allow you to customize the difficulty of the enemies bya djusting several paramters, which already makes the game way more fun. Also some small fixes like clipping issues (carrying a shield and a cape at the same time as a fighter was pure pain to me lol) and some other stuff. Worth a look for sure.

Yeah, I have my doubts too. Only the first of their SMs was decent (but not great). However, it is Wolverine, and they have a gore system, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
