the cruel joke is that a high trust society doesn't really need this but when it does have it, it isn't used maliciously. while a lower trust society it is necessary because the need to vet others but then it is used maliciously.

No I don't think so either. You were right about smoke screens I feel.Your correct though its entirely unworkable. It would just end up adding more friction to our lives.
Like I said earlier it's not happening.
By the looks of things, I'd say yes.Are all world leaders just criminally insane psychopaths?
You lot always vote wankers into office. Can't say that I feel sorry.
She was on Question Time last night and the impression I got they have basically no idea how this would benefit us or how to implement it.Interesting clarification from that bellend Nandy this morning
Earlier on Radio 5 Live, Nandy had said the ID would only be mandatory for those who want to "come to this country and work", adding that "we're not envisioning for a moment that this will be mandatory" for UK citizens.
They've already clarified that she was wrong about this.Interesting clarification from that bellend Nandy this morning

Not really, what a retarded comment. This is what happens when you give up your right to bear arms.
This is also the future that the liberal left wants for the United States.
I get that - but this is the UK it will be a total clusterfuck upon rollout and probably not work for at least 70% of the things it will supposedly cover, cost the tax payer about two billion pounds due to the stupid contracts that will be awarded to produce it and will probably roll out in about 2030.The Netherlands has been using digital ID for over 20 years. Works fine so far, makes logging on across multiple sites that need to verify your identity a breeze. Booking something at the local municipality, checking something with my pension, changing my medical insurance, and even doing my yearly taxes, all done via an authentication check with your DigiD. Extremely efficient compared to the shit I was used to back in my home country.
Yeah it would just be a complete clusterfuck. We can't even build a train track.I get that - but this is the UK it will be a total clusterfuck upon rollout, cost the tax payer about two billion pounds due to the stupid contracts that will be awarded and will probably roll out in about 2030.
Don't be too sure. He'll enforce his vastly superior majority of MPs to vote it through.lol it's never going to happen
not even the government officials themselves want it, its a pipe dream of Starmer and the WEF for greater control.
Starmer will long be out before this can be implimented and it will get scrapped.
It's sad that you can't see the correlation between people giving up their right to arm and defend themselves against a tyrannical government and the slow erosion of rights and slide into government tyranny and general lawlessness. Not really, what a retarded comment.
Never unserstimate the predictability of human stupidity.lol it's never going to happen

I'm not getting into a debate about gun laws but I'd rather have it our way than the way it is in the States. It's sad that you can't see the correlation between people giving up their right to arm and defend themselves against a tyrannical government and the slow erosion of rights and slide into government tyranny and general lawlessness.
This'll finish off Starmer. Burnham will prolly take over leadership.
and this is why your once great nation is going down the shitter.I'm not getting into a debate about gun laws but I'd rather have it our way than the way it is in the States.
This is all part of the dark lord's plans. He wanted this 20 years ago.lol it's never going to happen

The prime minister believes it would help crack down on illegal working and modernise the state, according to senior figures in government.
Great one less bellend.

And if I lived in your country the police (probably one in a burka) would be knocking on my door to arrest me because I said something by mean, which is why your country is going down the shitter right before your very eyes

Even worse than the current one. GE in 2027 latest imo.I get the feeling Burnham will be the leader by the end of the year at this rate.
