leads to fear. Fear leads to xbox.
Jokes on you if you actually believed that statement .... :messenger_grinning_smiling:

Execs will lie to you to get your money. PC is the best place to play Xbox first party games, its just the honest truth.

Also 4K will also be preferred over 60 FPS by execs because its a more marketable feature on console.

You want 60+ FPS? go get a PC ... case closed
Who the fuck are you talking to...?

Well that sucks.
Not even a 40fps mode for 120hz display owners?

Even a normal unlocked mode would be nice if his statement about it "often running way above 30fps" is true, specially with VRR

Yup, as expected. Sales wont be affected by this since the majority dont care, but what a shame. Should at least offer a 40fps option, but this is bethesda, Starfield will have its 15fps places. Im just glad im on PC.

Oh well, I had just posted in another thread that I was planning to play it day one via Gamepass, but if this is the case then I guess I won't. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

There are levels to raytraced lighting. They could be using rays to make their light probe system more accurate like how Returnal, Chernobylite(PC), and Warhammer Darktide(PC) does. Nvidia calls their version of that system RTXGI.
Yeah, I was just saying that they didnt say ray traced GI, just realtime GI which is still very impressive and taxing (Epic took it out of UE4 last gen after consoles failed to have enough to pull it off).

This is what Turn10 is doing. Realtime GI on consoles, RTGI on PC.

Q: How does RTGI improve the visuals of Forza Motorsport?

A: On PC, when we apply ray tracing to global illumination, we are simulating how light accumulates color as it bounces from surface to surface, so a barrier next to a red rumble strip will be influenced by that color, creating a scene where all the pieces are connected.

Depending on frame rate stability this might not be a deal breaker for me.

I tend to notice and get annoyed by instability more than a lower frame target.

That was confirmed a while ago in his Lex Friedman interview he's big on not sacrificing fidelity and likes the way 30 fps is cinematic

Correct me if i'm wrong but i dont think a BGS game has ever been 60fps on whatever the current consoles were at the time, in fact they havent been 30fps that often lol, and no past BGS game has the scale of this one.

I still think they should of added a unlocked more for the people that wanted it. Maybe VRR would of helped with the judder.

I remember when gamers cares more about the quality of the gaming experience over the frame-rate. In fact, once upon a time, frame-rate discussions weren't even a thing. It was either the game wasn't good, or it was, and we played it and enjoyed it, because the game was good, and the frame-rate didn't matter, once it ran reasonably well/smooth.

We're really spoilt today, huh?

it does though. Unless you've got astigmatism or something... There's been a major graphical jump from last year to now.
Nope.

I've seen the game. It looks good, but not amazing. Character models are especially bad. Lots of bad texture all over the environments. It looks completely fine, but it's laughable calling this amazing looking.

Maybe check up with your local eye doctor soon.

Oh my lord, I hope that's not a bad sign for PC players, but I'm kinda sure it is lol

There is going to be some crying on our side when they try to max those settings and see that it strangles their CPU. Accusations of poor CPU optimization will abound. Throw in some RTX features and we got a recipe for some major tantrums taking place on the boards and forums.

It's a massive open world single player Bethesda game with super high fidelity visuals. Totally fine with 30.

If you want 60, get a high end PC.

Ah yes let's not have options.

The XSX could handle this at 1440/60 I don't see any reason why not if its locked 4k/30.

Options be damned.

I

Im mad because i posted a tweet to confirm Greenburg is a moron, and pointing it out to the other user, yet some reason you come to me with some sideways post......You're mother should have done to you what she did with all the other prospects, swallow.

Relax man it's not worth getting so worked up over lol.

i noticed in the deep dive that the terrain had a lot of tessallation , also the draw distance was very impressive , coupled with their GI solution means they are pushing hard for fidelity , also the warp drive sequence was quick and seamless
this game is pushing serious tech

i also want a GIF of the warp drive from the video , if someone wud kindly post it

Fuck me, there’s always a tweet from this fanboy.

He has connections with the Xbox execs, why does he keep misleading his fan base?
