No In a couple weeksIs the new battleroyal portion out yet
It's an odd coincidence.Thats strange. Ever since Microsoft made their pursuit of Activision and COD public, I've heard nothing but negative forecasts about the franchise on this forum and descriptions of an IP that's been in decline for over a decade. I wonder what that was about.
Which is funny because the original COD 1 started out as a highly rated PC game, then the sequels all came to consoles. I never knew this until now but looking at the wiki COD 3 never released on PC. It says Treyarch was too busy with the console versions. To be fair, COD was never huge on PC like it was on console. many PC users judged the game as a console shooter, and tended to prefer the more hardcore military shooters that are on PC.
Still that apparently changed with the first MW and of course Warzone.
So yeah not surprised this is doing well.
A billion wtf you get that number?Steam had 25 million accounts in 2009. It now has over a billion. But hey great that it did double with 40x the users.

I mean this is already 238k people not playing this on PlayStation. They need to tell CMA that Steam is foreclosing them or something. And you wonder why Sony is so worried about losing access to the game.
Maybe it has 40x THW accounts but certainly not the users as many create fake accounts when they get banned in csgo, Dota or similar games. Valve tried to remedy that but it's still pretty easy.Steam had 25 million accounts in 2009. It now has over a billion. But hey great that it did double with 40x the users.

This doesn’t mean the game will have legs. Overwatch 2 also has done well at launch despite a lot of negative feedback and the player count has started to drop after launch.Thats strange. Sony isn't a trillion dollar valuation corporation buying up some of the biggest publishers in the industry. There's a huge difference. There are also a ton of other live service games on the market. Player time is limited.
Destiny has similar or better launch concurrents on Steam. And yet Sony bought Bungie with no issues.
And Microsoft bought Bethesda with no issues and then immediately locked out most of their future catalog like Starfield, Elder Scrolls, and Id software titles. Believe it or not, each new transaction is looked at in the light of previous business instead of in a vacuum.Destiny has similar or better launch concurrents on Steam. why? Is it good or what
If you liked mw 2019 you will probably like this one. If you didn’t then this won’t change your mind.
Me personally this could end up being my favorite CoD since the golden PS360 era but its only been out a day.
