Not to mention the perfect weight and shape
Love the stick, how it clicks. Love the big buttons. The Pocket has the same stick click, can’t go wrong.
Absolutely, it feels so good in your hands. And I have big ass hands too. No issue after hours of playing. Not to mention the perfect weight and shape
But asymmetrical sticks is a part of the comfort tho.Xbox controllers have always been the most universally comfortable in my opinion. There's a reason why the Dualsense was designed to be more like the Xbox controllers. Though I do have 2 complaints: the D-pad and asymmetrical sticks. If we could have a fusion of Xbox size, comfort and trigger buttons as well as Dualsense D-pad and sticks, that would be amazing.
The Z button and the d-pad are a crime against humanity, but fuck me if it just doesn't fit perfectly in my hands.
gamecube controller just fits right into your hands and feels right.
GameCube controller was probably the most comfortable. The form factor in your hands was great
Active GOATs:
1. Xbox Series controller
2. GameCube controller.
For comfort the Gamecube controller with my big ass hands.
From a functionality pov with 3D videogames I still feel like that controller doesn’t exist yet especially with comfort; To solve the functionally problem I’m still clawing to cook people on console in multiplayer videogames.
Agree on those complaints, but still, holding it is like sex for the hands.
Z-trigger. . . C- stick.... D-pad...
C'mon guys.
(apologies if I missed anyone )
You rarely used the z trigger, c stick was fine, d pad was trash but you never used it anyway, except for the GBP but it was the same one on the GBA.

Agree with you mate. Only game that made me wish for a better d-pad was Capcom vs SNK 2, with any other game it does it's job just fine. You rarely used the z trigger, c stick was fine, d pad was trash but you never used it anyway, except for the GBP but it was the same one on the GBA.

The DualShock 3 (PS3) was the worse out of the bunch. And it was all because of the R/L triggers. Sony made up for it on the Ps4 controller though. Haven't had any time with the pS5 controller, looks bigger and closer to an Xbox's size.Loved everyone of them.
I was on a massive retro gaming binge in 2021, and i bought a LOT of retro consoles, i got a PS2 first, expecting to hate the DualShock 2 controller but ended up really liking itSeries and Dualsense are equally comfy to me. I switch back and forth with no issues.
DualShock 3 was the worst
Haven't really disliked any controllers across multiple platforms because they were at the time state of the art and felt fine.
At first the dualsense feels almost just like the ds4. Maybe a little better. After a long (like marathon) it starts to feel a little uncomfortable. I don't thins the ds4 did that.
I think the Xbox series shape is a bit more ergonomic than 360, but overall I really, really preferred the 360 controller too, because Xbox Series controller has so many issues it's unbelievable.I actually like 360 wired pad for some reason (other than D pad, which is quite shit)
I think it's more comfortable than Xbox Series X pad. Since I skipped Xbox One, I don't know what it feels like - but I prefer 360 pad over Series X, as far as comfort is concerned.
Dual shocks are okay - but I do prefer the locations of analog sticks of Xbox and Switch Pro ones. It looks better, but sometimes the look and comfort don't go together.
And DS5 is probably the best one so far for PS controller.
It’s because of the Dualsense’s weight distribution and the resistance in the triggers, also too much rumbling can be fatiguing over time, it can lead to a medical condition called Raynaud's phenomenon which people using jack hammer or driving vehicles with too much vibration transferred through the steering wheel get. It’s a slow burn type thing that is hard to diagnosis once you get it, also hard to treat. At first the dualsense feels almost just like the ds4. Maybe a little better. The switch pro feels wonderful to fondle but I hardly ever get to use it so I don't really know. I'd try it on pc but it wants to disconnect all the time.

so you didn't have a PS3 then I guess
