We (UK) have a typically well functioning gun regulations and we aren't afraid of facing at least of some of our problems. In this case, it seems like it was a flaw in implement the regulation as his gun which was taken away was then given back to him.

Really most of them are average enough looking guys who'd probably do fine if they put themselves out there more, maybe got some nicer clothes, new haircut, expanded the stuff they talk about by getting a new hobby or went to the gym. Arrange marriages nowadays in the Muslim world in England in particular isn't exactly arranged as it use to be. It's more like you get hooked up with someone by the family. But they can still reject you after a meetup or you don't get any people interested in you with a arrange marriage based on your career, education and looks. I know plenty on Muslim men and women pushing mid to late 30s that are depressed and can't find a suitable partner as they can't get anything for them arranged as no one is interested in them or the offers they get they are not willing to downgrade and want someone better.

Then even if there is 99% of chats never really go anywhere. The point I'm making is that the daily experience of these apps create in part incels.
If you don't treat Tinder etc as just a casual whatever happens, happens it can become very negative. It's just meant to be a bit of fun, no one takes it seriously.

My parents married in arranged marriage, and just celebrated 51st anniversary.
Are they happy? They had their ups and downs, and at this point - I understand them more. They had their happy days, but they were not happy all the time either. At least, they stuck together & that's just life.
I married out of love, and it only lasted 15 years, and out of that 15 years, later 5 years were pretty hellish TBH. I can't control my past, or say that I didn't know any better... but even then, I don't think I would have acted anything different in given situations because I took the best course in life I could find at that point, unless I was able to look into my own future (which I couldnt).
Anyhow, he should have looked inward more, than bursting out his anger towards outside, committing such unforgivable crime of killing an innocent 3 year old.
You can't really find happiness from outside factor. Temporary validation, maybe - but not for the long term, IMHO.
He really should have gone his way, alone. Literally, and figuratively. At 23, that raging hormone and all, it's inevitable that some weak minded people can't control themselves.... and that's why I think discipline, or at least providing a path in life that's simple enough for anyone to follow (whether it's right or justified is another matter) is necessary to sustain a peaceful society filled with individuals who have varying degree of intelligence, personalities, and life experiences.
Some may call that as dangerous totalitarian control - but one has to realize that at the end of the other spectrum is total chaos. Human beings have to find some sort of middle ground, fully knowing that.... because I agree with Schopenhauer's line of thoughts, that I think ultimately human beings are being led by their blind will. But society has become pretty lax in that department these days in all front in this post modern atmosphere. Blame on some toxic internet community is easy, or even SNS or Internet in general (albeit how hard it would be to shut it down in reality) - but I think it really is like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound.

Social media and dating apps have trivialized human connection, no longer can you have a clumbsy line or akward introduction, you'll be ignored forever and onto the next person. In the past social convention, politeness, and the hesitancy many have with confrontational situations would've prolonged social contact between two newly meeting individuals and allowed breathing room and a chance to redeem or atleast diminsh the effect of a bad first impression. But now? Men pass on girls they'd happily take home from the bar by swiping left (or right? the bad one anyway) because she's not as hot as the last one they saw which might be a fake account, heavily photoshop, or a girl so far out of their leage it might as well be. Meanwhile girls have been given access to the meat-market of high-perfoming "mansluts" that look great, have outgoing and charming personalities, and fuck 10-20 girls a month, never intending to settle down with any of them. So women who might have otherwise liked and enjoyed the man from my earlier example now have an inflated sense of "value" because of 2-3 of the "studs" they had taken home in the past they found on some hookup app. It's a self-perpetuating feedback loop designed to do one thing: keep you swiping and viewing those ads.
I have 4 married friends, and am recently married myself, none of us found our significant others through dating apps, all of it was through work collegues and mutual aquaintances with pre-existing or new friends, this is how real relationships not 100% based on first-impression physical attraction are made (though do please go to the gym and take care of yourself, physical attraction is definitly part of it). People don't go out and do shit anymore, when that guy from work asks you to come over for a BBQ, actually do it, it doesn't matter if you enjoy hanging out with him that much compared to relaxing at home with a video game, it's a social oppertunity and if you're lonely that's exactly the kind of thing you should jump on. The guy form work with the BBQ will probably have invited other people over, the other people might include someone you will hit it off with, perhaps even just as friends, but then those people will boraden your social circle with even more new people, and at some point, somewhere, if you keep purposfully putting yourself into social situations, you'll grow more comfortable, confident, and believe it or not charming (yes it's a practized skill), and at some point, someone will like you, just don't be too proud or picky to give them a chance if they're not a 10.
