Sony Corp. has delayed the upcoming PlayStation game Horizon Forbidden West to the first quarter of 2022, according to a person familiar with the matter.
I don’t think it’s unfair to say Sony first-party never release on original release day. Maybe once in a blue moon.it is part of their strategy. Keeps the momentum going and allows them to dangle carrots and sweep up pre-orders.
The writing's on the wall. We have the reveal trailer and one 10-minute demo to show for it since it was announced and yet people really think it's coming out within the next 5 months lol. Wouldn't be surprised if making the game work on PS4 is the main culprit for the eventual delay.
Yeah, to the surprise of no one.So do I to be fair. Q1 IMO.
not allowed to say such bad things about PS5 here. Not surprised at all. I’m totally fine with this. But I have nothing playing on my ps5 for months
where are the PS5 exclusives?Real question.
What does the 2021 Holiday lineup look like for PS5 at this point then?
Edit: found a list

So Kena, (since delayed to September), Deathloop (September 14th for now) and Death Stranging DC are the only AA-AAA games coming out between now and the start of Q1 2022?
That's a bold strategy.
good thing we don't listen to you.I would say the same with Halo.
Kena, Deathloop, Death Stranging DC. Death Stranding is also a PS4 game so its a AA game Kena and a AAA game from Bethesda.where are the PS5 exclusives?
He is a hack. Hackiness has nothing to do with hearing rumors that turn out to be true.bUt JeFf GrUbB iS a HaCk!
Kena isn't exclusive, its coming to PCKena, Deathloop, Death Stranging DC. Death Stranding is also a PS4 game so its a AA game Kena and a AAA game from Bethesda.
Does MS have more PS5 exclusives launching this holiday than Sony? Wow.
So Sony only has Deathloop for the rest of 2021.
Time for Microsoft to go in for the kill, tasty burger right of the PS3 george foreman, hold the tomato.
Yeah it's pretty light for AA-AAA exclusive content on PS side going into the fall and holiday. Unless there's a surprise game announcement like...maybe Abandoned turns out not to be a massive troll and is the Silent Hill everyone's trying to will it into existence to be?Real question.

Obviously delayed so Nixxes can finish porting it to PC for a day 1 release.
Thanks Jimbo!
wow out of 18 you listed? i'm impressed.Kena, Deathloop, Death Stranging DC. Death Stranding is also a PS4 game so its a AA game Kena and a AAA game from Bethesda.

I don't think most people are shocked. To hear it confirmed and to speculate about it are two very different things. Not sure why this would be a shocked I said this months ago they knew they were way behind schedule
So Sony only has Deathloop for the rest of 2021.
Obviously delayed so Nixxes can finish porting it to PC for a day 1 release.
