Yes it is. He tried to buy Impact wrestling which was yet another legal s**t show involving Impact. Personally I think it would have been better if Billy got it since then NJPW would probably still be on AXS. (And if I had my choice I'd rather have NJPW than Impact.)

Yeah, I was gutted when NJPW left AXS. At least I have AEW now, but… I did buy a Roku so I can watch NJPW stuff on The Roku Channel. Not the same, but it’s something.

I was so desperate I actually subscribed to NJPW world. Admittedly the video quality on stream isn't as good on my little monitor as a cable channel on my 65" tv. As you say, not the same.

I’ve subscribed a few times before, but never used it much because it the interface sucked so much. Did you ever think about getting an Amazon Firestick? That’s what I used because the app is available on there and you can watch it on your TV. Just thought that you might like to know.
Never knew it was on there. Actually I thought they got rid of the NJPW app or do you mean Roku? Either way I have an extra PC so I was thinking of just hooking that up to my TV. Dunno if you're familiar with the story behind it but Necro had taken liberties with some of Joe's ROH students (on a CHIKARA show of all places), Joe called him out online over it and Ian Rotten booked this match to take advantage of that. So there was a reason things got especially stiff.

NJPW World’s app was on Amazon’s Firestick last time I checked, but that was a while ago. I haven’t used the Firestick in a long time. I don’t know if they went all exclusive with Roku or what with that deal. But yeah, dude. No problem.

Jim Ross needs to hang it up. Gets confused the whole broadcast - doesnt know the wrestlers names or moves - says dumb stuff like restaurant quality picture in picture - and signs off saying WWE Dynamite directly after an amazing AEW pandemic tribute video no less. Its way past time.

I love JR. He was the voice of wrestling for my generation, but he just doesn't sound the same, or have it in him like he used to.
It's still comforting to hear him, but just like the talent, he seems to not realize when to hang it up and there's always one more run left in him.
I'd rather him do more podcasts and documentary where he can reminisce about the good old days then hear him live on the call now.
