I am being at least half genuine.

You’re gonna pretend like the PS5 is a value? Just play the rich prick card already and be done with it.

Hope you get one with a decent 4K tv and fully enjoy it sooner than later. Around my country it's still pretty possible to get it with it's original price ($559 here, 215 OMR) as we get batches much more frequently and we have a small population.

I wonder what sort of level design we'll be seeing. Everything is so dark or in some sort of small arena like area. Will there be platforming, etc?

I never understood the "this game doesn't look next gen" arguments, I mean that thing with the tentacles was NOT possible on the PS4, let alone the impressive lighting... Still no PS5, but like Demon Souls and the upcoming Kira and Ratchet this might be a pre console purchase lol

I think people are saying that because of the developer. They associate them with smaller titles. It’s a placebo effect. And let’s be honest, we’ve reached a point that everything that’s not open world with millions of miles to ride through is not next-gen.

There’s a vocal minority that says demons souls is not next gen because it’s a corridor crawler. I had my jaw dropped through the whole thing. Nothing looks next gen like demons souls to me.

The price is an absolute killer, especially in Europe/UK. It looks really fun but we're talking about nearly $100 dollars for a video game, that's beyond insane. It's basically DOA until it drops to around half that.
When you go to supermarket, do you check every product how much does it costs in dollars or you ask at the cashier if it possible to pay with dollars? Why you care how many dollars or any other currency this game is if you are in Europe and the game cost you 80€.... My god today I bought a water bottle and I paid 433.226 Zimbabwean dollars (1€) that is absurd what are they thinking selling for over 400000 for one water bottle. Pay in your currency and not think how much something costs in other countries when that does not affect your daily life.

The most common reasoning I see by the usual members who like to stir shit when it comes to Demons Souls is that it's a PS3 game with prettier graphics lol ignoring all of the other work that went into it, funny how that argument didn't exist for Shadow of the Colossus (also by Bluepoint)

P.S Bluepoint really went all out with their DS remake, a whole bunch of little easily missed details, such as when you kill a boss the particle effects upon their demise show their OG form for a second or two before they disperse :D Seriously check it out.

3D bullet hell is such a great concept. Nier Automata already had some of that in some boss fights. And its looking better and better in each new video. Not buying it day 1, but wanna play it later for sure.

This is the game that most have grown on me, as the 1st time it was shown it got a "meh" from me, and now is in my wishlist.

Is this technically a Sony game, though? I know it's exclusive, but Housemarque is not a Sony studio.
As much of a Sony game as a Insomniac game before they bought them.

I was hoping for a better showcase from a combat trailer, people seem hyped for it here tho. I think it looks janky as fuck.

Returnal's development likely started in 2017-2018 after Nex Machina came out. Doesn't mean Sony's practices when it comes to risking with new IP's aren't changing, they may just want to release the game instead of canning the project.
If if and buts were candy and nuts everyday here would be sane!

its sony game through and through. stop being salty
Dude, go take a walk around the block and a cool shower.

Would you care to read again what i replied to, to maybe slightly understand what the meaning of my reply was?
I was precicesly saying that Returnal IS a PS game, a second party game to be exact which is the exact same type of game that every game from Insomniac from Ratchet to Resistance was before Spiderman, and previous Housemarque games as well as super stardust.

Now, again, what is wrong with my reply exactly?

your reply is wrong. there isn't a second party game. and if the 2nd party game was a thing this isn't one.

I find it really odd how $60 is ok but $70 is not affordable. Surely if you are counting your dollars you shouldn’t be buying a next generation console.
shhh quiet you cant say things like this it uses too much logic, + you're feeding the arrogant sony alter ego, jimmy thrives on your struggle to muster up 10 extra dollars.

Yet here you are trying to make a distinction that it's a PS game, but second party. There is no such thing as second party. If the publisher owns the IP its first party. Doesn't matter who makes it.

I can’t tell whether I’ll be into this or not - I wasn’t super into nier automata which had sorta that old school arcade thing going - will this be kinda like doom eternal ish? I didn’t play their other games

Never did such thing, i just answered someone asking about it. Why get all triggered, call me salty and argument that i'm wrong when what i initially stated it's all true?
What's wrong with second party games? lot's of Sony IPs and developers started as such.
