Hello everyone.
I m crocwrangler, a field zooologist with a taste for exotic wildlife and videogames. Even though my life sometimes looks like Far Cry 3, i do enjoy the occasional sweet time spent in front of a TV and a console, with electricity, running water and non running food.
Neogaf was kind of my reference in terms of debating and discovering things in the world of videogames so here i am!

Hello. I'm some dude whose gaming tastes update slowly. Watch too much Youtube, but I'll try to fix that. Currently on a semi-serious, doomed quest to finish more PSX games. Also newly (2017ish) got into boomer shooters.

Hey folks, new member so I'm doing the the first post here.
My names is Chris and GT is PapaBungle on Steam, Von_Butters on Xbox Network and on PSN it is xupaguy, feel free to say high.
You'll more than likely find me playing Destiny, or just about and other looter shooter, but I do enjoy first/third person adventure games, Elite Dangerous in vr, car racing sins.
Got loads of time to play as I'm disabled due to having a broken back pinned together with titanium rods, with a damaged spinal cord to boot, so walking is just about done for now, so to take my mind off of the pain I still go through, I game.
A lot!.
I realise I may have put a bit much here for an introduction post, but I didn't feel right just giving my name and saying I like long walks on the beach etc.
If you wanna game, chat or want help, give me a shout, Ill no doubt be around.

The avatar is practically the look on my face most times, so it felt appropriate.
I’m more of a film person (horror is my favorite genre), but I’ve been playing video games since I was a kid, starting with GameBoy Color and Nintendo 64. Eventually got into Xbox and PlayStation as well. I game mostly on Xbox nowadays due to my large digital collection of backwards compatible games, but I also love playing some PS exclusives (Death Stranding and The Last Guardian are masterpieces and you can’t convince me otherwise).
Also play Switch and the occasional GameCube/Wii games. Tried PC gaming for a bit and found it wasn’t really for me, but I don’t blame anyone for sticking to it exclusively considering what’s possible on the platform. Recently picked up a Series X, and can’t wait to eventually pick up a PS5.
Joining here because it seems like a fun crowd to talk to about games, and the console warriors are fun to watch from the sidelines.

I really enjoy the politics forum... I do see a lot of bans that I sometimes question... Its not my board so I follow the rules...
Ive been a member of other forums for 20 plus years... A few of them are all out free speech.
I joined this one because it has a good mix of opinions and it seems a lot of you are either my age or younger. Being a xennial is not an easy place on the interwebs.. Most of the forums ive been a member of I was the youngest and as time has passed many are now in their 50s to 70s.
That's that.. I love slow motorcycles and fast women.

Happy to be here. Been reading these forums for many years now. Started playing games such as Contra on the NES with my brother as a kid and kept it up until around 2010, when I realized that I need to stop failing my college classes. Really started to get back into games last year thanks to lockdown and I've really enjoyed playing some of the stuff I missed.
Persona 4/5, FFVII Remake, Nier Automata, Witcher 3, and Breath of the Wild have all been a blast.
I'm most looking forward to FFVII Remake Part 2, Tales of Arise, Ender Lilies, Eiyuden Chronicle, Hades (please come to PS4, my PC is a potato), and Granblue Fantasy Relink.

Howdy, I have been in these forums before but its been several years. I was a big SEGA fan and have seen Sony put them away in the last years of Dreamcast. Since then I have remained old school with Nintendo systems only (Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Switch).
Now with all of the rumors about Microsoft acquiring SEGA, and the great deal that is Game Pass, I have purchased an Xbox Series X which is my first Xbox. So here I am back again!

I currently own only one console, the Nintendo Switch, and no PC. I currently live in an ALF (Assisted Living Facility) so my access to stuff is pretty limited (I'm posting this from the library computer for instance). I appreciate the site for gaming news since for some reason the internet filter hates gaming websites and this is one of the few sites Net Nanny doesn't block on general principals. I looking forward to adding to the great discussion on the site and avoiding the console warring whenever possible.

Longtime lurker on and off for about a decade, stopped in recently and saw public emails were allowed. I'm most interested in retro games (of all generations including arcade) and Halo. I hate social media and have always loved forums. They were my first social interactions on the web back in the late 90s.
