We don't know whether the Microsoft title is the "big game" or one of the smaller games. It was rumored that Kojima was pitching a smaller episodic title to Stadia and that didn't happen so it could be that Microsoft is picking up the title that Stadia refused. So that's 1 title, which leaves the others, any of which could still be a Sony exclusive. For all we know KojiPro's "big game" is a Sony exclusive and the smaller titles aren't, so don't be so quick to jump to conclusions.
Also, all of the insiders have said that to their knowledge negotiations were underway. None of them have said it's a done deal.
This is why it's so important to not jump to conclusions. Look at Remedy, they're working on multiple games and their "big game" is rumored to be a PS5 exclusive made by the Control team. For all we know it could be a similar story here.

Hulst wasn't in charge when Kojima came over though, right? Maybe once Hulst got his promotion shit got real and he realized he couldn't just go around kissing Kojima's arse.
One thing's for sure though, if he were to make an exclusive for XSX we can be pretty sure it might end up being one of the best looking games of the generation (and therefore wouldn't come out until like 2024 or something).

This could get interesting. Not the game most likely as I'm not really a fan of his more recent games. The narrative though, has the potential to get really interesting.
Seeing as it's just a loose rumor at this point, how it plays out either way should make for good reading.
• The rumor ends up being true. Many of the same Sonlyfans that were hailing DS as a multiple goty award winning masterpiece, will do an abrupt 180, and claim that Kojima has lost it, and that DS was really a terrible game all along.
• The rumor ends up being false. DS immediately returns back to masterpiece status, and Kojima becomes the second coming of Christ. It was obvious all along that Kojima would never go to team green, because he's loyal to Sony.
Edit: Bo Bo shows up like clockwork, and doesn't disappoint.

well there's big differences in gameplay between mgs and death s. just one is what ppl called walking sim.

Death Stranding is a walking sim, and loved it. And of course MGS is different but the mechanics, animations, gunfight in Death Stranding feel like a refined version of MGSV. In any case, I love Kojima's creations and if news are true and it's only on Xbox then I'll buy the game on my PC definitely.

The Kojima on Xbox discussion has been happening since the middle of February though. And given everything is accounted for within the shelf meme except the Kojima statue, it's been pretty obvious something was happening.
The Abandoned thing started within the last 24 hours, right? And seems largely held together by hopes and dreams.
Death Stranding is literally a walking sim, complete with weight management and balance simulation.So will his games stop being walking simulators now if that happens?
It's incredible, but if this is the game you want to call "not a walking Sim" you're gonna lose.
MS has multiple engines or he could go with Unreal. Doesn't seem like a major issue all considering.
Edit: He's been hiring for Unreal. Makes sense - it's platform agnostic and it'll probably prevent him having to ever use a new engine again.

Dude wanted to make an exclusive for Stadia. Not that there was ever any doubt, but Kojima is weird as fuck.
Death Stranding already used UE4 in it's first reveal IIRC, then they shifted to Decima with the agreement with Sony.
