Loved the game personally and it's my GOTY as well. I get annoyed at "woke" stuff as much as anyone else but the anti-woke brigade can be just as annoying and a lot of the rumors and negative reviews came from people that seemed to have an agenda against it or seemed to completely miss the point of the revenge story.

but it was boring as fuck and to be honest mundane imitation of already tired Ass Creed games.
Just sayin i never got bored with TLOU2 but Samurai game is just full of last-gen ideas in terms of design.

Personally wouldn't nominate it for GOTY. The central pillar of its design is narrative, which I found faulty and cannot dismiss.

Certain individual elements, however, are superb.
