And while there are plenty of PS4 titles that could benefit from improved visuals and DualSense functionality, several PS3 titles deserve to be brought into the new generation as well. Let's take a look at 15 PS3 titles that need to be remastered for the PS5.

And Dark Souls being a top 10 game of mine could get the Demon Souls treatment for sure.

Mass Effect trilogy could of done with a simple Remaster this gen... You had one Job EA and you fucked it up.

And EA went out of there way and made a comment like “We make new games not remasters on our older ones.....” Like they are heroes or something. Your new games suck... And you just refresh games like Fifa. Please remaster your old ones you poop company

So many good ones here but Tales of Xillia is odd as it's the only non-Sony game on this list outside of MGS4 lol.

I really don't think we need remasteres of LBP 1 & 2. Puppeteer desperately needs one. It's a crime that Sony stuck that on PS3 and gave us Knack on PS4 instead. I would love to see Resistance, Infamous, and Motorstorm collections brought back along with MGS4 and KZ2. Twisted Metal can get forgotten about as it's a shame what they did with that game.

First off, they pretty much listed almost every single first party game. Here’s the TL; DR list (and it’s more than 13, they put multiple titles under one number, and they didn’t put them in any order):

Most of those games are fine. I agree with MGS4, Heavenly Sword, a couple of others.

I’d focus more on games that were just too ambitious for the hardware. A Lair remaster could prove that it was a good game.

Still wishing for the Saints Row 1 & 2 remasters.

If we're talking about just a generic remaster with upscaled graphics, I think that's a terrible list of games. Many of them have archaic gameplay mechanics that are not going to play well in the new gen.

Surprised they never did MGS1 and MGS4 the way they did MGS 2 and MGS 3.

Most of the PS3 games I would want to play made it to this gen in some form or fashion (port or 360 BC) but there is still the occasional JRPG I'll find that wasn't available on 360 and never got a PS4 port.

Don't forget the Jak and Dexter and Sly Cooper Collection, could also see a Motorstorm Collection but that was ahead of its time visually so it likely wouldn't even be worth it.

And White Knight Chronicles could use a full on remake.
