I would guess no GaaS type online title would be quick resume. An offline game is one thing, a game like Grounded or Fortnite or Apex for example, you’d probably at best load back to the login screen. Maybe that doesn’t qualify as quick resume to them.

Even now there are plenty of online games that you can leave open but after awhile you’ll be booted back to the main menu and when you resume the game you’ll need to log in again. I think this is a good thing, some online titles rely on queues and there’s no point in people taking server space idling for potentially hours.

I just saw the video, it is completely non-informative and useless. Most of her games needed patching/updates and on top she has no idea what she is talking about. "This kind of things happen all the time during development and before final product" ... really low level knowledge. .

Yeah, I think it is a nice to have but not something we absolutely needed kind of feature. I think once the system is out and how people start using it will determine if it is a game changing feature.

There are others out there mate. As a dad with two kids and wife who game quick resume is solid, especially from cold boot too. Kids jump around, parents want other games to play etc. It's not just a feature for you champ.

I too have had SSDs in my PCs for years, they ain't as fast loading from cold boot as Series X, nor do they have quick resume or even a single sign on like XBL etc.
