Xbox will have 9 Console Launch exclusives at it's holiday launch.

Falconeer is my most wanted. The world building and the sheer mystery of it that comes through in those trailers give me the same "itch" I had when seeing those early shots of Panzer Dragoon back in the Saturn days.
Plus the creator seems like a proper bonkers mad solo coder. Which is always a plus in my book.

I am gonna be honest, those aren't the games Xbox would make me "force" to buy a Series X immediately. Sure they got better games coming in the future, but Sony has the far better launch games that make me say "holy, i need a PS5 at launch".

What new games are referring to? I honestly don’t know which games you are talking about.
The new MM is on PS4, too.
DS is on PS3, too.
Is there any other launch exclusive? R&C is for next year, and IMHO, not a game that screams „holy I need a PS5 at launch“, I mean it doesn’t even come out at launch.

More like... your point? You are bitching that a PC only game is coming to a console when the competing console's stars are remakes and expansions. I don't have any confusion. I just think your complaint about Gears Tactics is retarded.
It's not a complaint, and it's retarded for MS to use term "exclusive". And what's even more retarded is having all this infinite budget and 0 really good games.

Gears Tactics was actually a solid game and I enjoyed it quite a bit. A tad short and it got a little repetitive towards the end but I do recommend it.

Xbox has been using console exclusive since 2012, if you're still confused then you must have only started gaming this year. You can dislike the term but even Sony started using it 2014 onward.

There should be no doubt that MM will run and look better on the PS5. Demons Souls on PS3, sure, but not really comparable to the remake. Besides i am looking forward to Destruction All starts, because it looks to be a funny game (that also seems to be overpriced imo). Launch window we get Ratchet & Clank, GT7 and later down the road HZD2, God of War, .. Xbox on the other hand has no real interesting titles coming up for me. You see, its my personal opinion and it differs which titles you value more. I like what Sony has to offer, that warrants a day one purchase for me.

If you say so. Sony games might not be for everyone, but the majority of other gamers and i enjoy them. If you don't like them, i accept it. Doesn't change the fact that Xbox has no interesting title coming up for me.

Launch window meaning what? Do you have a clear release date for R&C and GT7? Do you have one for HZD2 and GoWR beside year 2021 (whatever that means)?

Same might be said that Halo Infinite is 2021...So you have MS title later down the road.

Mmm.. your complaint is still retarded. They use the term console exclusive for a reason. Godfall and FFXXXVVIIIIx7 are no different in terms of exclusivity. The good games complaint is subjective as well. I am much more excited about games like the Ascent and the Medium than I am about Demons Souls. The games will come in time. There is always a dry spell at the beginning of a generation. This is the plight of being an early adopters.

some games are better than none. Be happy.
It wouldn’t look to bad if halo was launching.

how many in the op are onlyseries x and not Xbox one?

The Ascent looks so good. Really want to try this at some point. Anybody here gonna make it their first series x game?

Crossfire might be interesting. The mp is free but remedy is making the $$ single player that is sold separately.

Falconer looks like a fun take on aerial combat.

Gears Tactics is top notch.

List would have looked better with Halo tho. Big fuck up

I'm getting a series x, but not for these games. I want to play my current games at their best on console, and I look forward to the future with their new first party studios.

meh .. I really just want some big third party games this holiday for my XsX. The only exclusives I have cared about in recent years are from Nintendo and From.

To be honest, I would take Halo in the state they presented it. It looked good enough for me. They could have patched it later on.

Nevertheless, it's Medium and Tactics for me.

What are those better games coming in the future? Craig Infinite? Forza CGI rendered trailer? Fable teaser that shows it in the same state as ES6? I don’t know guys I’m missing something here. I don’t get it. The Microsoft lineup for the forseeable future is abysmal. They couldn't even get Flight Sim on the console at launch? And MS wants you to spend $500 for this... I do not understand.

Bright Memory is the game I'm very interested I saw it on mobile but I don't know how to download it on my mobile
If it’s like the PC version then it’s alright. It’s not bad by any means, and it’s gorgeous even at 1080p but it’s not something I would clamor for.

All of these are on Gamepass day one, if I recall. And given how expensive next gen hardware is, that’s a great value. Obviously the list has a gaping hole without Halo there, but nothing that can be done about that.

Medium is my most desireable next gen game atm anyway. It feels as if I haven’t played a good horror game since the Silent Hill era.

Not trying to show Sony fanboism, but nothing there excites me and I haven’t heard of half of those games?

I’ll just stick to game pass on PC, I don’t see a compelling reason to buy the console.

Actually really looking forward to 4: The Ascent, Crossfire X, The Falconeer, Second Extinction. Still waiting to hear if Crossfire X's campaign is coming to PC.

This just proves further that these launch games really aint "it". Most disappointing jump to a new generation.

Most appealing one is The Medium from there and DS from the Ps5, but even thats just a remake.

I think the hardware is gonna be awesome but this lineup does nothing for me at all.
I'm really disappointed that they couldn't get Halo ready for launch and no Forza either.
I was a sucker and bought Xbox One day one but that at least had Forza and Killer Instinct, Ryse Son of Rome wasn't too bad either.

At least its new content? Like what the fuck am I reading? Gears Tactics has been out for nearly a year now, its just a straight port, how is that an even remotely comparable example to a NEW GAME (Miles Morales is an expansion and is a standalone game so its still brand new content) and a complete graphical (and possibly gameplay) remake of an 11 year old game?

I'm sorry but Microsoft's launch line-up might be the worst I've ever seen in console history (I can't think of a single console in the past that didn't launch with an exclusive of some sort). There's literally not a single compelling game that you can't already get elsewhere, including PC. Like, PS2's launch was pretty bad but it AT LEAST had some exclusives like Tekken Tag Tournament.

If I went the Series X route I would definitely go with The Medium as my first game. Looks really good. Bloobers best yet?

The Ascent got pushed back to 2021.

Wait, when did that happen? I wouldn't be surprised if it got pushed back (it's been that kind of year, plus the promotion has gone quiet after being aggressive at first, although a LOT of games have been way too quiet in 2020 hype...) but the Xbox/Steam listings still list 2020 and there's nothing on Neon Giant or Curve about a delay, are you sure you're thinking of the right game?

It'd be great if it makes it this year, this is a bright spot in the Xbox launch library for me. It does remind me a lot of the PS4 game Alienation as somebody mentioned, but that's a good thing in my book and also there are also significant differences.

Gears Tactics has been out for nearly a year now, its just a straight port...

Well, not a "year now". It came out in April of 2020, which only feels like forever ago...

But chances are that the port was held so that there was a new Xbox game to promote with the console launch, so kind of some marketing sleight-of-hand there if that was the tactic to delay Xbox One and release both console versions together...

A second chance would be good. Microsoft barely promoted Gears Tactics when it first launched, and I thought versions had launched simultaneously, so was wondering why suddenly this game was being treated it as a special event for Xbox Series when gamers could have been playing it on XOX all this time and just didn't, but I was wrong.

They should have kept Halo Infinite on track, Craig and all. It at least looked like fun Halo gameplay.

It would have been cool if they could have released some kind of multiplayer-only product, like a handful of classic maps in the Infinite engine or some Master Chief Collection Sampler pre-installed on the drive or something. It's just weird that there's those Taco Bell Halo commercials on TV for XSX (which must have been retooled from an intended Xbox/Infinite combo campaign) but then never mention that the console is getting a new Halo some day.
