I think he'll just have a writing credit on Ragnarok. I think Cory's the director of a new IP. Its been teased a lot.
Jaffe basically quit during God of War 2 development so Cory took over for him, then he quit and so Sig took over on GoW3.
Cory Barlog said back in 2018 that they've already outlined a new God of War trilogy. I could see Cory going back to direct the 3rd game.
I think it makes sense to trust Cory to make a new IP. And he has teased this plenty, plus Williams has worked closely with Barlog on multiple God of War games, including the 2018 reboot.

Because everyone has a different accent. Your speech, your mannerism, is perfectly fine, but not everyone is able to appreciate it or "accept it". I am not an English native, and my accent comes as cringy at times to a native. Which is perfectly fine and I don't give a fuck

Yeah, it's easy to drop words like "cringe" or "LOL" at the beginning or the end of the phrase and they think they did win the fight or showed how smart and YET dismissive they are, but it's so transparent that they don't even realize it. But it's ok, different strokes for different folks, I guess.

they've rebuilt the lighting for the remaster and are still working out the bugs. Why else would you think one tree has a shadow and the other, right next to it doesnt?Performance mode feels weird in comparison to PS4 Pro. Where did the trees shadows go?

pop-in is not tied to I/O speed. a slow disc can hold up an asset from appearing when it's meant to, but when working right LOD changes based on a predetermined distance from the camera

There is some minor pop in on the PS5 Spiderman Remaster, but could that be put down to the fact the Remaster is simply kind of a patch, and not built from the ground up on the PS5 to take full advantage of all the console processing features.
Or is it a case a simple update will eliminate any pop in completely.
I understand GT7 has all the next gen features and targets 60fps at 4k just one mode.
This is due to GT7 development specifically for PS5 only.
However some argue racers are less taxing graphically.

Spider-Man 2 coming November 2022, exclusive to PS5. Guarantee it'll be incredible, a true next gen leap.
I bet the plan is to have a trilogy of Peter Parker Spider-Man games on PS5, and thats why they remastered the first game.
Marvel and Sony probably want a new game out every 2 years, so they will use the Miles games as half steps.
