Kind of an odd comparison but the way Sony and Microsoft are handling their respective Marketing campaigns reminds me alot of the 2020 election right now.
Microsoft is behaving like the Trump campaign: Trump tweets like every hour and is holding rallies almost every other day. Microsoft has daily updates and events almost every month.
Sony is in hiding and radio silent. Biden wont leave his basement to campaign and is relying on the media to help him win, not unlike sony resting on their laurels.
I could probably go alot more in depth in the comparisons but it is striking how similar it is, at least in my opinion.

Yup. People that think these huge rpgs aren't coming to PS are foolling themselves. Yea they spent 7.5 billion but at the end of the day the MS division has to see a return on that investment or come close to it. If they don't then Phil is gone.
I also suspect this deal was pitched to Nintendo and Sony and they either put in a bid or didn't see any value. My guess is they did bid and that's why you have the 7.5 billion over pay by MS.

I don't know why exactly but in all the videos I've seen the Series X feels somewhat... cheap. I'm talking about the outer case and appearance of course, not the hardware.
Maybe it's the monochrome mouse grey, maybe it's that ridiculous green grid bolted on the top. I also have the feeling it's quite light for the size, which might contribute. It's like I'm looking at the toy version of the real console. Am I alone in this?

Its funny how Nintendo created their A, B, X, Y buttons.
Sony created their cross, circle, square, triangle buttons.
Then Microsoft, Google, and now Amazon just lazily copied Nintendo.

FH3 case is pretty simple... is Playground making a team to use their time and budget to change the game to run in 60fps (at least on X)? If they don't then the 60fps won't happen.
How much time and budget is needed? We will never know but it was enough to Playground not make the changes.

I finally took the plunge and bought an Xbox One X for dirty cheap (helping a friend to raise money for PS5) to complete this generation set (PS4/XBO/Switch).
It looks like I did the smart choice.
