Because metacritic is used by fanboys as ammo for list wars, nothing more.

Metacritic is especially terrible because they literally say "this review counts more than this review, so a 8 from them is equivalent to a 10 from them", and they don't disclose those weightings.

To be honest, steam reviews have a bunch of trolls as well. Those dedicated site reviews are more important to the game popularity than steam reviews and everyone should care if they match with the games view.

Is a valid point showing what shit they're whining about. I love Atlus and will support them, they made quality games.

Just for an example, read IGN Mario Kart 8 review and then Crash Team Racing Nitro Fuel Review next.

Don't worry lol, i'm used to it, 80% of Atlus threads turn into hate Persona threads since the early days of P4G on vita.

I do expect great things from 13 Sentinels, hopefully it's great.

i won't be able to play it anytime soon though, but i will make a LTTP thread when i do finally get the chance so i can discuss with everyone else about it.

It has RTS gameplay, and despite people find the visuals in combat section too simple it’s actually really fun.

First of all the first 3 Persona games don't have a social link so your comment makes no sense.

Second, nobody plays these for the stories alone, but the interactions. Or hell the gameplay.

Third, I played these games the day they came out, at the time they were different outside well the newer Persona games.

Fourth, like I said in that same post you quoted "it was a joke" or a jab. While the newer Persona games aren't the best at proper story telling the older ones did not have that problem.

Stop acting like a Fudge Packer.

Like I said, "Most of the appeal". Nothing you said contradicted that. Now I know you're unhappy with Persona 4 / 5 storytelling. That's not a Packer move. I'm not trolling, just trying to make sense of this.

Some of play Atlus games to summon demons, play decently made jrpgs, sometimes cool characters and for the music before anything else. I've always thought the social links were tacked on at best.

Just came in after playing additional hour on 13 Sentinel - and huh? Persona with giant robots?
So far, its nothing like Persona - only thing that had any connection that I could find was something about "Inaba Rabbit song" of Tomomi - for whatever that may be. LOL.

To be honest I’ll probably play this on easy so I can enjoy the story. I love the art style and the general feel of the world but I’m not huge into the battle system they have. I bought Persona 5 time ago but have never gotten around to playing it, or any Persona for that matter, maybe I should get on that haha.

And I bet you that any Youtuber or another website gaming review will say the same shitting score and this same person dont even play the game
