I think MS made much less consoles, because they know there is no need to hurry. Beside US it sold much worse than PS5.

LOL... this is complete bullshit.
Every Amazon worldwide has PlayStation selling more and way higher on the yearly best-sellers than Xbox. (Both SKU's) except in the US, that is because they labelled PS5 under something else (not gaming).
Gamestop had several times more PS5's per store.
MediaMarket in Poland had 40K PS5 orders and under 1K Xbox's.
Same across europe.
Xbox is getting blasted already.

I reporting what I was told. Xbox had more console in retailers world wide then Sony did when pre orders started. Why GameStop only had so many pre store I can’t say. World wide how console allocation went I do not know. Just told Xbox had more consoles. I could see Xbox having more in North America and other popular countries they do well in. While Sony had more in Europe and other places. But I have been told by more then one person Xbox had more consoles total. I can’t wait for launch and see how thing brake down. Because I know I’m Asia and Europe I can see PS5 doing 2:1 ratio to Xbox.

It looks like the most xbox consoles any retail store had was 12, many had far fewer but the, PS5's were close to double that. Also it looks like there were far fewer Series S consoles available than Series X, I don't see tweets from every gaming outlet pointing that out like they did with the PS5 digital edition.

That wouldn't make any sense, cause PS5 is ahead in every region for pre-orders.
Europe and Asia are way way more than 2:1. In most european countries its 80-90% PlayStation.
Where did you hear this from?
I will also add that Gamestop Ireland and Smyths have been told to take no more pre-orders for any reason... they have enough orders to go into next year by several months.

They said what I expected, they'll go on a case by case basis. They must analyze which titles they can get money from other platforms like Minecraft and which ones to keep locked to Xbox.

Are we talking about the supply the retailers will have or the preorder numbers? There could always be the possibility that Microsoft will have a greater supply but that Sony already has more systems pre-ordered.

Honestly I was on the PS4 earlier. They invited to their party and was talking to me discussing this. It wasn’t a long conversation. From what I understand Xbox had more systems for retailers. Does that mean Xbox promised and guaranteed stock and PS5 more Preorders that Sony will promise to fulfill as soon as possible I don’t know. But both person said that they predict Sony to out sell Xbox world wide by the end of the year. Also when they said Xbox had more could have meant just North America. There wasn’t a lot of details included. I also wonder if pre orders are including All Access Consoles moved also. I’m also how many where Sold by All Access?

Well, maybe they did get more than everyone else... it would seem to be the only case though and they wouldn't be in a position to know amounts to other stores, not to mind other regions or worldwide....so that doesn't add up at all.
But the whole thing sounds unlikely to me.

The problem here is that they are forcing people to buy a game to be entitled to upgrade another one, that's ridiculous. They should at least let Spiderman PS4 owners pay to upgrade just that game.

Then there were YT view count wars about how Sony videos get tons of views so it leads to tons of sales.
Then someone brought up Nintendo videos don't get a lot of views and can sell more copies than a PS4 game.

He tried GOW while in development and literally told Santa Monica that he was freaked out about how GOW played, and they changed everything and produced a masterpiece in 2018. They spent time and money on building new high polygon/ texture/ resolution assets, render tech, and assets streaming ( huge change in the game engine). All of that was done post release of the original game. It's additional cost. I don't understand why people can't ask money for their effort.
If you don't want to pay for the game, you can still play the original game on the PS5.
