DuskGolem making a fool of himself in an attempt to "even things up" between PS5 and XSX after Microsoft's recent fuck ups doesn't necesarilly mean that the information he gets from actual sources is not true.

Let's just wait and see what happens.

There is no Team silent anymore the original game came out 21 years ago. Team Silent as we knew it is dead or in the retirement home.
What he means is having the game being developed by Japan Studio's Project Siren (Keiichiro Toyama and some former Team Silent staff) along with Masahiro Ito and Akiya Yamaoka.

No, “Team Silent” are spread across Sony, Nintendo, Konami, and freelancing.
No one cares about where the VFX artists or the programmers are now. Some of the creative leads in the design (Toyama), art (Ito) and sound (Yamaoka) departments are at Sony or freelancing, so a "Team Silent" reunion under Japan Studio's umbrella is not a pipe dream.

Our own HeisenbergFX4 HeisenbergFX4 seems to agree too. The birdie gossip around an event in early-mid September isn't exclusive to Dusk sources.

It does corroborate however.

PlayStation anniversary may be the date.

I highly doubt this Silent Hill rumor, I doubted it when it first surfaced and I doubt it even more now.

There’s no way a publisher lets go of all that money to have it taken by somebody else.

Ito and Yamaoka freelance. Hiroyuki Owaku (who wrote the first three) is at Konami. Takayoshi Sato, who created those cutscenes and was a major factor for the first 2 is at Nintendo. And they’re half a dozen more like them spread across companies. Not just “programmers” & “vfx” artists.

His Capcom "crap" is nearly always true. He completely detailed the content RE8 would have (warewolves, village focus, etc). He also discussed Ono being demoted (which was further supported by Ono quitting in the end). He definitely knows his Capcom stuff.
Agreed. Its becoming tiresome that people who cant read the english language properly, are labelling him as an outcast, or that he was “debunked” etc etc.

He was right with RE8, but his Ono and SFVI story was totally false. He or his friend who works at Capcom made up a story misunderstanding a Capcom IR release note where they talked about changes in duties for corporate oficial staff, lying and saying imposible things in basically all the 7 or 8 points of data that the rumor had.

SFVI never was planned to be released next year. Ono already said last year that they won't start SFVI development until if lucky late 2020 or 2021 and will design it around what the first PS5 can offer, and that won't release it because they were busy adding stuff to SFV, that they planned to continue supporting SFV until 2022 or so. Making numbers from his vague words about related topics like saying they plan to support SFV for as long as they supporter SFIV series, SFVI would be planned for early 2023 or so.

Ono is an executive producer and not a director. There are another guys working as directors and producers for SF. A female director couldn't replace him because there isn't any female director, producer or executive producer at Capcom Japan.

Looking at that release note, there's a female that depending how do you read it sounds as if she took Ono's job position, but isn't the case. Because Ono was in charge of the eSports division and specially the Japanese eSports events, and this woman was in charge of the USA eSports events from a Capcom USA subsidiary in charge of that and managing Capcom product rights for merchandising, movies or tv. She isn't involved in game development, she's the boss of that Capcom USA subsidiary and as before the change of these duties / some of their job roles.

I will be crashed if this is a Playstation exclusive.
If it exists and is being developing at Sony Japan by the Gravity Rush guy as he says, make sure it will be exclusive.

Kind of, the creative leads are important to have there as they set the direction, but the importance of building the right team around this kind project (SH2 was built by way way more than 3-4 people) seems woefully under appreciated by comments like this which only worry about few key individuals.

Still, those key individuals together could help get more of the old team back together or hire the right people to continue the project.

If he's "outcasted" maybe you shouldn't post his crap.
He's "outcasted" because of the console war shit he pulled. He's still a valid leaker, however. The RE8 stuff he leaked was 100% true, though I personally think he's just at the end of a giant game of telephone and has very little info himself. That bit about Shenmue is clearly just a parrot from Jason Schreier that he'll no doubt try to pass off now as him also leaking.
