at a weird crossroad with assets and code, could transmute most things to either of the three engines

problem is i'm getting kinda sick of the grind and need to narrow my bandwidth somewhat or get lost in scope creep hell

after tooling around with source 2 all weekend, i'm edging toward that as the final destination (feels like home)

Any chance of us seeing what you've been working on down the line?

No mine is the Frontier! Love that Patrol! Mine is patiently waiting on LS swap sometime between now and the end of the world.

When it's nice outside a few times a month if I get my way... often don't.

Wonderful truck! LS is a pretty straight forward swap, I made a mad attempt for a VK56DE swap from a US-spec Titan to my old 1997 Nissan Patrol LWB (Y60). Cost me around 9,000 Omani Rials ($23,400 USD)! But used the main 5-speed manual (which is massively bigger than the titan's transmission housing and bigger flywheel) and changed the engine starter sensor to the front (custom crank sensor) to free the engine from that NATS BS, had to throw away the OEM ECU, harness, throttle, ignition coils and mainly use Haltech 1000 with a custom harness and other stuff.

Crazy swap and a real money drain, and after that the police didn't approve it.:lollipop_anguish: Made around 411 hp on the flywheel.

That's what I want... I am doing the LS3 e-rod because it's the only way to get it street legal here in Nevada and even that will be 50/50.. I am also doing a full cage at the same time so I expect over 30k in cost.

I'm guessing OP requested this thread be locked. There was some actual good conversation going on in there.

I feel like adding in boss battles was a mistake...

Yeah, this always seemed a bit weird.

I feel like a boss in Halo should be incredible numbers of enemies, or something like the Scarab. Something that fits into the wider gameplay and style and makes sense.

Plopping a Nintendo-style boss fight in doesn't make sense for a 'realistic' AI-driven game all about choice and tactics.

I don't know if it counts as a boss fight. The Scarab mission in H3 was incredible. Playing that on coop is a memory I'll never forget.

that was bungie at their best

That snow battlefield near the end of Halo 3 with the two scarabs...

I don't think I've seen a game do a battlefield that awe-inspiring and packed with things going on ever since. Especially single player. I miss Halo Bungle so much.

When people give Halo 3's graphics crap, they should remember that they're comparing it to games that are three people and a pretty corridor.

That's Saya no Uta. Not a anime, but the guy is known for writing Fate/Zero also Meguca Magica.

I know him from Aldnoah Zero, which was decent despite the clumsy plot and Mary Sue MC. Gave us a phenomenal Sawano soundtrack. Didn't get past the first episode of Magica. Might try another time.

You are watching it just to get to episode 8 though. After that. if you don't like it you most likely can't feel things anymore.
