One of the biggest things is that it's supposed to be a franchise that's associated with Xbox. For that one I can't see it being COD because they had the marketing with Sony for a long time. Still struggling to guess what that one is.

That was Imran’s rumor that it’s been associated with Xbox. I think that’s Elden Ring, because Sekiro and Elden Ring were shown at Xbox E3s for the last few years. People expected Elden Ring at Xbox events this year. So maybe that’s what he meant.

Cause currently there is no big 3rd party game associated with Xbox, other than CyberPunk. And there’s no way Sony got that game.

C´mon! Not even Halo in it´s heydays was worth $750 million dollars. Why not use those 750 million and subsidize the PS5 price for the first 2 years? Instead, we get 100 credits for Avengers among some suits.

I'm starting to think the games could be COD and FIFA. Those games are annual releases and if somehow Sony got a 1 year exclusive deal with them, then they would be getting the game for it's "entire" lifespan until the next entry comes out. We know Activision is going to focus on Warzone so that's where the big bucks are going to come from.

And here I am thinking these kind of deals cost between $50-$100 million, $750M sounds like an INSANE price tag for one game. The only thing I could think of for that price is something like GTA 6 being a one year timed-exclusive for PS5, but even that sounds highly unlikely.

Same here. It's difficult because outside of Halo/Gears/Forza/Fable, I'm not sure what big games would be associated with Xbox any more than they would Sony. Unless they just mean something MS generally has the marketing deal on. But even there, they just don't do many of those, AC and Madden they've done in the past.

That’s probably why. They can promote Elden Ring and Demon’s Souls, and also Bloodborne, all as PlayStation games. Sekiro won game of the year, sold over 5 million. Now Elden Ring is the spirtual successor to Dark Souls and the next From Soft game. Getting it exclusive to PS5 could be big, might even sway some hardcore Souls fans to come over to PS5.

Lastnight while playing Warzone with some friends who are pretty far up the food chain in the gaming world we talked about whats coming.

One of my buddies was told (he claims a good source) Xbox will announce Mon (maybe Tues) that they are having their show this Thursday and is quite certain Lokchart gets revealed because they have said devkit in house.

Wednesday places like IGN are going to talk about one of the Sony 3rd party exclusives right before said Xbox show.
