While it sucks not to hear more about PS5, very good PR move to squarely kill any hype before it even builds. It's good because it adds more gravity to the times when Sony does hype something.

One of the reasons people are getting irritated with Xbox is that Aaron Greenscreenberg hypes literally everything to high heaven and then it turns out to be good but nowhere near as good as he made it out to be.

Anyone disappointed after this event will have done it to themselves. They're literally telling you this has nothing to do with PS5 or even AAA PS4 games.

Honestly i always thought by now(August) we would have lots of talk about PS5 and games..but nothing. This is the most boring next gen hype i ever witnessed. I wouldn't be suprised in October big reveal and November release. Or it will just appear on shelves in November.

It doesnt feel at all that next gen is coming in like 3 months. Thats really disappointing considering bith PS5 and XsX have great hardware and should be hyped a lot more

Probably gameplay of some PS4 third party exclusives, like: Gran Blue Relink, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Spiderman on Avengers. Games with marketing deals on PS4 and VR stuff.


40+ minutes indicates that they have a lot show or somethings in depth.

This is what happens when there is no peer pressure and the publishers control everything. E3 was the peer pressure venue where you have to impress and put out the best show. Weakest link Nintendo started the trend with Directs to try to stand out and grab some air..... others followed out of convenience. Shit's not good for us old folks brought up in the old ways. E3 must come back next year with a vengeance.
