Halo Infinite is a prime example of why it's fun to make memes

This thread is hilarious.

I actually thought during the show that the game looked like a lot of fun. Open world Halo? New weapons? Grappling hook? Brutes throwing Grunts at Chief? Shooting charging Brutes in the leg to stagger them? I didn't even notice that dumb looking Brute's face.

But having said that, these memes are very funny & they've probably took over now. 343 will just need to take it on the chin.

The problem is, it's not like the game looked great and we are just making fun of something silly that happened. These guys at xbox are PR spinners and hyped and lied to us about how amazing everything will look, most powerfull console blah blah, and we are making fun of that PR spin because halo looks like trash, it shouldnt be funny to them.

The meme is born out of a legitimate consumer concern, They shouldnt be laughing they should be fixing their game

Yeah I don't know about all that.

Like I said, the memes are properly funny. No debate there. But I didn't notice it during the show. I was too busy watching & thinking about the gameplay, which I thought looked good.

& just to say, I am not a fan of 343 or what they've done with Halo so far. I'm a die-hard Bungie Halo guy.

Okay this thread... By now, I'm looking at youtube video thumbnails and everything looks like a hilarious crack at xBox...

...Just thinking of all the threads people have made trying to tear down PS5, that stuff about Unreal Engine's video etc...

... Just wondering how the people who got instant degrees from TFLOP academy are thinking~

This is definitely a Marvel vs Capcom Infinite situation: solid gameplay, mediocre and uninspiring visuals.

You know what?

It would be amazing if they rework the models and in the launch trailer they have Master Chief punching the helmet off a brute, and the camera zooms in and the action slows down to a halt, in a way that has the brute in the EXACT same pose he has in the meme screenshot, so that you can see how improved the model is after they worked on it.

A man can dream!

Can anyone turn the 'stop he's already dead gif'
/
and put Cerny hitting Phil (hamburgler) while craig says "stop, he's already dead"

I really want them not to change a pixel of Craig. I'm starting to love him. They should make a game of him instead. That would be an exclusive I'd buy for sure.

It's a disgusting racist post that shouldn't be tolerated here or there. What on earth has diversity got to do with how good a game dev you are?
It tells nothing, but recruiting based on "diversity and inclusion" means people get hired for other reasons than their demonstrated abilities at doing the job.

I mean, can I get a job as a full time developer in one of these studios if I tell the recruiter I'm secretly gay (this is why I have a family, I really want to hide my true personality, I use gay because it would be easier than arguing I'm black, but I could definitely pass for Latino in the summer months)? You can't just say "no, of course not" because we know some positions are reserved for the oppressed, while it can happen that someone hired on these grounds is also the best employee, there is a chance that the person figures it out and they decide to just not do much as they aren't expected to... which happens, the city where I live has diversity hires like this, some of them don't even bother going to work, but they can't even be fired for some reason.

yeah I'm sure your city does. What a load of absolute ville nonsense. The brainwashing is strong with this one.
