I too think Sony will show a few games tonight. They want to get in there right away. But be prepared for bullshot stuff, same as Hellblades trailer.

If you REALLY want games, wait for the E3 period, as that’s when all the game bombs will drop.

Today will be stuff mainly just to show you how things work, and they will make a much better job of it than Ms did yesterday with that stupid SSD speed demo that just served to confuse everybody.

deep down 2 reveal confirmed 😆

Meh, some people are actually believing is 14. There are some batshit insane about 3 TB SSD and 24 GB RAM or whatnot.

I've didn't said it is 14. It's quite possible to be 13 TF. Because it matches what Reiner, Klee and Moriarty said earlier ( difference is up to 10% )

Btw. i'm still in HBM hype train ( not 16 GB HBM, but like previous rumors, 8-12 HBM, rest is DDR4 ).

Oh boy it leaked.

PS5:
  • CPU: 8x Zen 2 Cores at 3.8GHz
  • GPU: 12 TFLOPs, 52 CUs at 1.8GHz, Custom RDNA 2.
  • Memory: 16GB GDDR6.
  • Storage: 1TB custom NVMe SSD.
  • Optical drive: 4K UHD Blu-ray.
  • 120 fps support.
  • Potential 8K resolutions.
  • Ray-tracing technology.
  • EDST
EDST seems huge:

An integrated circuit designed to be configured by a customer. The EDS configuration is generally specified using a hardware description language (HDL), similar to that used for an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC). Circuit diagrams were previously used to specify the configuration, but this is increasingly rare due to the advent of electronic design automation tools. EDS stands for Enhanced Dad Simulator Technology and provides fixed function hardware to enhance various aspects of dad game-play offloading much of its AI tasks to fixed function hardware.

C’mon people, be realistic. MS found a way to add TFs to its system from components that are not designed to produce TFs. How can you beat that?

This post was not serious of course.

A lot of people are going be sad today either way, if ps5 is more powerful the xbox fans will be sad, if the ps5 is less powerful the ps fans will be sad, unfortunately there will be no middle ground as even a 0.000000000001 TF difference will be enough for discussion. Stay safe and healthy GAF!

I'm fine with that. :D

Its a shame those specs were a troll post as it would of been the perfect specs for me, identicle between both systems. It would of cut out a huge amount of console warring next gen, and it would be all down to the games, which it should be anyway.

at this point, i'm gonna be very happy if the 2 console are perfectly on par, less work for devs with better results.
maybe some different features just to spice up the discussion.

Can we all chill just a little bit slagging off Jason? Just the other day, you were all using him as a yard stick for how old Tommy boy would be redeemed.

Let’s not move the goal posts just yet. As has been posted, even an 11.6 would prove what he said correct but still give a beast of a machine.
Weird how people only seem to be on your side when they're hearing what the "want" to hear

It's funny that a lot of people have been ignoring Jason's for awhile, but now that he made his prediction tweet, people are running with it. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

By reading his post, he didn't back down from his "stronger" than the RTX 2080 comment.
