I LOOOOOVE Sekiro but I don’t think Ghost of Tsushima going for same gameplay style.

I don’t want simulation in my games, RDR2 might have nice details in their world but the actual gameplay and mission design is not fun and it doesn’t even control properly, so yeah I never, ever want Suck Punch go same route as R*.

If western devs are going to case realism do it to the full extent devs have done stuff like this in the past with hardware that was 100x as less powerful. These new games look great but they are still hobbled with gameplay design of a AA games from the ps2 to early ps3 days.

I haven't played RDR 2, but I can relate to what Danjin was talking about and I think your point kind of expands on what we feel from playing SP's games. They almost feel like a japanese developer, you'd never defend them by talking about the tech. Their games are caveman gaming, it's just fun to fuck shit up and it controls like a dream.

And thats fine but most western devs haven't been able to even top there 10 year old games game play from back then and the bar to do that now with what we have shouldnt be a problem. There are many games that had literally digressed in over all game design. The reason why I use rockstar as an example is because those things that they do would help greatly with some of these franchise. AC,Ghost recon and watch dogs would be 10x better in the environments were on par with what rock star made. Most western TPS should have the bullet phxs of max payne 3.

I have yet to see that out of a western dev in the past 5 years outside of doom " bad example" but even if they do have decent gameplay "Spider man ps4" there stuck behind numerous boring story sections and cut scenes. The game should of taken the Arkham game root and by the half way mark should of tone down on the amount of stop and go sections they presents you with between Mj, miles,osborn and doc oc.

Established IP or not, every sequel can bring some changes, sometimes big ones ( like God of War ), sometimes small ones. Point still stands, you would buy it even if there is no showed gameplay but you bitching around Ghost Of Tsushima. Am i playing games or review scores I already said earlier I dont care what jurnos give a game or what metacritic rates a game or how much a game sells I dont care I played what I want and make my own decision from there. Dont care whats the new fad or wave or whatever if I dont like it I dont like it end of story. I found the story in UC4 to be extreamly boring compared to 2 or 3 they could give the game a 11 out 10 the game was still boring for me end of story.

Need to see gameplay. Just finished Sekiro a month ago and it’s gonna be really hard to top.

I have been considering Sekiro, but Blasphemous has been kicking my ass over and over and I'm starting to consider removing it from my wishlist. Although it's not the melee combat that is messing me in Blasphemous, it's the shmup like dodging of boss projectiles. I love/hate hard games

Thanks for the specifics, I have not kept up with all the videos, mainly watched the one at TGA and this story/release date trailer.

It does seem to parallel that system in Infamous and I imagine samurai = blue and ninja = red.

Developers have no ode to work for free, by that logic CDPR is greedy cause APEX is free, shouldn't we be singing the praises of EA? Let me guess, only developers you like should get paid and charge for games huh? smh. You can't have this one both ways. Developers do different things yes, its not a one size fits all though, that is just a silly assumption that even questions why CDPR CHARGED for their season pass!! Yet EA has several games with all free DLC and no season passes? No one publisher is some saint man, relax on this whole "ohhhhh but this publisher did" etc.

I think its great when any publisher gives a game for free, or free dlc and no season pass or gives free upgrades etc, but I don't go around arguing for it to be the standard and ALL DEVELOPERS should do it or anything silly like that.

We got ports of PS1 titles on PS3 and PS3 was NATIVE to PS1. Having the system, doesn't mean you have the game. So I still expect many remasters, special editions with extras etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they'll just be saying stuff like "ray tracing edition" lol So I don't doubt we'll see patches for free, I also see remasters still happening as a market still exist for them. Many will own a PS5 that never bought a PS4 and when a game even gives a free patch for some upgrades, they might just buy the PS5 remaster edition that has ray tracing or something. I don't fault any developer for making a remaster as this is still a business.

Who am I to demand a developer work for free on features that clearly took time and cost money to make? So I'm fine with those that give it for free, its awesome when that happens, but I respect developers enough to pay them for their work if they charge cause the features clearly took time and money to create.

I think just like RDR2 had duels, the boss battles in this are going to be duels with swords (obviously).

I hope there are loads and in side quests and just hidden for you to discover on your own. Loads of costumes too...
