Ghost Recon: Breakpoint |OT| Mo'Drone warfare

It is. I feel disappointed for anyone who bought this after that shit show of a beta. Just look at this garbage. We will never ever get a fucking good Ghost Recon ever again and that just makes me sad.

I have a feeling the whole game or every encounter is NOT like that or close what's in the video?

I enjoyed Wildlands, so from what I hear I will like this. The beta was ok, but I'm hoping the full game will impress me more. Waiting on Amazon shipment now.

Game feels much better than beta. Better graphics, less buggy and smoother performance. Having a ton of fun with pvp and pve. Graphics are phenomenal on 1x.

I've played about 15 hours throughout the week and I've been having a pretty decent time with it, treating it like an open world MGS game. It's still buggy as fuck, though. Player movement while in cover is a constant nuisance and has gotten me killed a dozen times. Really wish devs would stop doing the automatic shoulder swapping bullshit.

Is the Terminator only a part of the year 1 pass or can I play that with the base game?
They haven't said anything about it, but I imagine it's like the free periodic updates (like the Predator) for Wildlands.

This sucks but from what I've read it's for Year 1 holders. Very different from Wildlands events. I had the base game and the Predator, Splinter Cell, and Walker missions were all free to everyone. :(

Ubisoft site

It's confusing the way it reads, but let's hope the live event is free and comes out next to the paid DLC episodes...here's to hoping

It’s a good game, but these days way too many gamers are looking for the game that’s going to save their life, and if they don’t get that they engage in hyperbole and attack the game as though it’s the devil incarnate. LOL.

What a stupid choice. Graphics or resolution? What does that even mean? Where's the performance mode?

Loving this game on PC. No issues aside from kinda long load times.

Looks amazing in 4k.

I love how the guns feel. Love the damage that headshots do. Lots of things to do in a pretty big open world.

Just been playing solo but I can imagine this will become even better with a group.

Love that servers are down and not working on launch day. It's a big big reason as to why people didn't want always online, especially in a game like this. Ubi had an opportunity to assuage their concerns and they flubbed it hard.

Not really surprising, although I think it will probably land a bit higher in average once more reviews drop. And with Ubi being Ubi, unlike Anthem I'm sure this will see plenty of support and become a fine game to play on the cheap in a year or two.
Yeah, it's easy to shit on Ubi, but one can't deny that they don't support their games for a long time. Siege is such a better game now than when it launched. Wildlands became a MUCH better game than it's launch offerings. What really surprises me with Breakpoint is that it doesn't seem like Ubi took some of the lessons they should have learned with Wildlands and improve on them with Breakpoint, it just seems odd. Almost like these two games were created in a bubble independent from each other with only a baseline being established between them.

There are things I like about Breakpoint more than Wildlands and there are things that are done in Breakpoint that are substantially worse than Wildlands. The U.I. is almost 100% worse than Wildlands, which in a game with looter/shooter aspects is baffling to me. The u.i. in this game is awful. Animations are better AND worse. Just some really strange design decisions.

I see the servers are down. Opening weekend for the game, and it doesn't work.

They're pretty bad at this server thing.

Well I enjoy the Ubisoft open world formula, so minus any major performance issues with the base ps4, this is one of the few games I don't really care what most reviewers think of it. I know I'll enjoy it.

again, this's basically something that was also true, to an extent, of division & division 2. the differences may not've been quite so stark, but they were definitely there, & they weren't all improvements...

Spent the evening on this. I loved Wildlands, btw.

- Basic gameplay loop is basic.
- The "you're being hunted" thing quickly disappears and it's business as usual
- Spawning enemies and drones on your position is amaaaaazing design
- SO MUCH SHIT is locked behind microtransactions. Remember in Wildlands where you had millions of clothing options? That's fucking gone. Now it's money money money.
- Enemies have robots and drones and futuristic bullshit, but are so stupid they can barely dress themselves
- Oh great, another rifle. It's like the other one, but this one is a level higher. Better equip it and then customise it. <5 minutes later> Oh great, another rifle. It's like the other one, but this one is a level hi...
- Skill tree is pretty sweet.
- Sync shots are now a consumable item. Blech.
- There's some faction war thing? It looks like reskinned seasons from other games. "Do arbitrary shit we picked before December! get stuff from this reward track as you go! Stuff you had for free from the last game!". I assume there's a horde of 14 year olds that are really excited by that shit.
- Shooting feels good, animation bugs are plentiful, traversing the environment is spotty, vehicles are hilariously buggy

It's really just a more exploitative version of Wildlands with basic looter shooter mechanics thrown in to distract you from the fact it's just a more exploitative version of Wildlands. If you liked the previous game and have a credit card then you'll have fun.

How to win game easy
1)Raid a base that has apache helicopter
2)Fly chopper to walkers island
3)Sit at range and pepper base and tank with rockets
4)run into final building and rocket launcher
walker

Win

Can I use an Apache Helicopter against those level 200 drones bases?

Yes...just sit at range otherwise it will one shot you....don't go high...just stay long

Takes a little while sometimes but you will find a good angle and simply keep spamming those rockets

Well shit. They really bolted the whole level thing on at the last moment, didn't they?

I am honestly playing a different game than most right now, cause I find it fantastic. Do yourselves a favor and turn off all his elements except for mini map, (make it small) extreme difficulty, no enemy marking (turn off red zone indicators as well on mini map), turn off pick up icons in game (show on mini map if needed) and then you’ll definitely align your mind set with how I think they game should be played if you want a ghost recon experience. It becomes far more immersive, you feel alone and hunted, and you really have to be aware and clued into the sounds and environment around you. They really handicapped the experience with the default settings and guided mode enabled.

Sounds great, but the stupid gear level system isn't optional.

If anyone liked the original DayZ (immersion factor), or games where you just roam around and explore, even just mindless shoot and loot, it's really good stuff. You do not NEED to buy anything from the in-game store. Also, you collect money in game to BUY things from the store since (or sell your items for currency) there is no actual vendor/shops from what i've seen so far. People need to stop labeling and/or falsely accusing games for things that aren't even true. I think this game is spectacular for what it does. In that, the details in the game graphically, are incredible. The wind over the grass, the way the fauna and vegetation moves about you. The thunderstorms and lightning, the lighting of the world and it's day to night changes. Also, the way you can hide from enemies, especially drones adds a unique tone to the game. There are enemies that seem like they are straight from Metal Gear whom are mysterious and will hunt you down if you cause trouble. There's giant robotic horrors which guard area(s) and will decimate you if you aren't prepared.

Playing coop/squad is a riot and is probably the best way to play the game. I'm level 20, just found my first purple/epic piece of gear. I just pick a place on the map and go to it. The UI is a bit of a nightmare to navigate and i'm just figuring out the questing aspect. Mainly playing solo with a drop-in into coop multiplayer now and then. There's a lot of different vehicles but i think the airplanes are missing which kinda sucks. Hopefull they add in something like a glider, gyro-copter, etc. If anyone likes the first game or just exploring around and shooting and looting, you'll have your hands full with Breakpoint. Playing it on PC is really giving my rig a challenge. Either the game is a resource hog, not optimized, or my system is already showing it's age. Anyhow, here's the breakdown;

Seems like every UBI game is a cookie cutter open world game with lots of trees or concrete buildings.

- AC
- Watchdogs
- Division
- Far Cry
- Wildlands
- GH Breakpoint

Ok, I'm wrong. For Honor, RS: Siege and Just Dance are not open world.

When i looked at gameplay videos looks like something is missing like lack of AO or smt , look at division 2 its dark its amazing shadows and AO great , even wildlands looks ok on pc with maxed AO, so why this new game looks kinda flat too bright, skin doesnt look realistic at all. Those trailers where so amazing looking so i was hoping for some more realistic approach more like moh or smt but i look at it and its same wildlands just on new areas, very simple shooting no need do much stealth , damage is not so leathal.... Why?

Damn this game pulled me in like no other 🤯🤤..atmosphere, toys you get to play with, tactical sEAL approach..maaaan I get goosies just talking about this..so much to do in this jewel of a gm❤🔥

Did you like Wildlands? Many are saying that it's a downgrade so I'm still on the fence about Breakpoint.
