Man I love this premise, but I'm still worried about the gameplay loop being the same as the other Far Cry games. As much as I love 3 and 4 it started to get repetitive. I still might get it for the premise alone though.

We have seen literally nothing but the cover art. This thread exploded and rightfully so, that cover art is incredible (as well as the Donald one lol). I think Ubisoft is gonna have a hard time living up to this key art the same way Deep Silver couldn't live up to that initial trailer for Dead Island.

Yep things like that and the Bundy Standoff seem to be the main source of inspiration here given the imagery used. I think this will be much more about "man vs government" and cult religion than it will be about race (though I expect that to play a role as well, just not the focus like many are thinking)

I think this will be much more about "man vs government" and cult religion than it will be about race (though I expect that to play a role as well, just not the focus like many are thinking)

Yeah the horde of weapons, the fact their flag is flying above the american one, the bible on the table, the references to The Last Supper, etc. Its pretty clear to see what direction the game is headed in going by the key art.
